1. Will Smith was still wrong to strike Chris rock.

The problem is that you don’t know for fact he’s a pedophile. That’s your OPINION.

Sure, if you count pointless The Root articles bashing Rock. In comparison, none of CR’s half-ass comedy across 30 years has ever endorsed violence, much less violence bc someone told a joke that make anyone angry.

It actually does mean he’s innocent. It was alleged, it was investigated, and he was acquitted. He’s not my hero. I just understand how the legal process works.  It means more than your opinion.

It’s so nice when the hard work and persistence finally pays off for an oppressed and marginalized young girl....

Turns out unsubstantiated allegations that never lead to any charges let alone convictions, especially where there is at least some indication that it was an attempt at extorting someone who was just a weird dude isn’t enough to cancel someone.

Is there not a CVS within like 2 blocks of every Walgreens?

Will Smith being wrong does not make Chris Rock right. Chris Rock has been very problematic for a very long time. The Root pointing that out is not the problem.

Why the hell is the notorious fascist troll not perma greyed/banned from commenting?

The college in question is Berkeley City College; the plan was for her to take the test at BCC and the credits would then be transferred to UCLA.

Me too me too (expat but still Cali girl). I don’t care if he’s doing it for real or doing it to lock up the women’s vote for 100 years, and I care even less about what practical applications it might have for Walgreens. Statements matter, and calling Walgreens cowards is the right thing to do.

I love my governor so hard...

The internal investigation into the deputies actions found they did nothing wrong.

FTFY. Until we start taking these settlements out of police pensions, they have zero incentive to do anything differently.

The explanation makes it worse! They are excluding the girls from the very concept of the competition. Not right.

Ive told multiple recruiters from Tesla, offering very enticing salaries, to fuck off in the recent months. The pay is great, Austin is cool(for Texas), and I would continue to avoid a state tax. But, fuck working for Musk. I don’t care about potential safety by proximity, that dude is a insecure man-baby throwing

Let’s set the record straight.

The misunderstanding is they assumed the boys would win

So the elite girls team lost their practice space but the regular boys team got to keep theirs? I don’t think any of us are misunderstanding anything any way you slice it.

This policy still doesn’t make sense. Why would you give a trophy to the losing team regardless if the team was regular or elite? What's the point of that when the entire team knows they lost?
