So, this seems a relevant time to ask; why are people so excited about BioShock Infinite?

Yep, I've been saying that ever since its announcement, and the same with the 3DS.

Like I said to the other guy, they've simply got too many announcements already. The next WoW and SC2 expansions are pretty much guaranteed, and I suspect they'll be unveiling "Titan" at well (to avoid being accused of "doing nothing but sequels". That's a full platter, and if they tried to incorporate a D3 expansion

Ahh, Shantae... such an underappreciated gem. Haven't played the new Double Dragon, but I've heard good things.

The backgrounds look like they could use a little TLC (or at least, some texturing), but I gotta say; it's looking pretty goddamn sweet!

Hrmm...

Bummer they didn't just re-do Sora's model, particularly his face, outside of cutscenes. That change alone would've greatly improved the experience.

Yep, I don't see anything, either.

I have to admit; that was a damn good trailer.

If they can even come close to the magnificent Bionic Commando remake they did, I'll be happy!

Honestly, that's pretty unlikely, as we know they'll be announcing the next WoW expansion, presumably announcing the new Protoss expansion to SC2, and possibly even unveiling their "Titan" project. There is a point in which they would be drowning themselves out with so many announcements. Plus, Diablo III was

I'M SO HAPPY THAT IT'S NOT A DIABLO III EXPANSION, TO FINALLY TACKLE THE LARGER DESIGN-PHILOSOPHIES AND MAKE IT A TRULY COMPELLING GAME!!!

Agreed completely. They're really dropping the ball.

Very interesting article! I've been pursuing a Journalism degree, and have really been keen on trying to get into video-game journalism specifically. Always great seeing the other side of things!

I'll admit, I do think certain people have taken this thing a *bit* too far, but I think you sum it up very nicely, Mr. Totilo. Right or wrong, gender-equality or not, it's just uncomfortable, so I'm just as well if they want to avoid this sort of stuff in the future.

I agree, I absolutely *adore* the Symphony-style Castlevania games. I just think, for a reboot, cleaning up the story was one of the strongest elements. I mean, when you look at the classic series as a whole, the timeline just winds up feeling like it's a little messy, and doesn't really serve itself all that well.

Aye, I firmly believe that sequence is the most impressive piece of film-work in cinematic history. Such a shame he has gone relatively unnoticed, because he could absolutely carry the torch that Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan once held in films.

No doubt, he really deserves to be a bigger star than he is. Ong-Bak and The Protector are some of the most impressive martial-arts movies I've seen in my life, and the scene where he walks through and up an entire building, all in a single shot, is without question the most impressive piece of filmwork in cinematic

Well, I haven't played the game yet, so I'm looking forward to getting it in today.

Well, good on your for stopping, anyways. And yeah, it definitely sounded like that guy needed someone to put him in check. The part that aggravates me is, like I said, when it's being done to people they've met, for no real reason.
