They they could simply have the existing Virtual Consoles automatically launch into Wii Emulator mode, and immediately launch the selected game's emulator from there. The key thing would simply be that you be able to play it on the GamePad, but at that point, it's not affecting the emulation itself one way or the

Honestly, Nintendo would do well to buy Volition and the Saint's Row IP. Since they apparently aren't getting Grant Theft Auto games, Saint's Row would give them a great deal of competition in that market.

Not only are they dropping the ball on the full offerings, but *EVERY* digital game should include a Demo! That's one thing that XBLA got right, because speaking as a consumer, I'm simply not going to drop $10+ on a game I have absolutely no idea what it plays like. The only reason I picked up Trine 2 is because I'd

Seriously, though; I would be *SO* down for a Torgue hoodie. I love the classic hot-rod look; bold red-and-white colors with the checkered-flag design... You just can't beat that shit, man!

I think it's more that "consoles, in the traditional sense, are dying". Most people don't buy a video-game system to play video-games; they purchase them are all-in-one media-players and entertainment packages. I mean, the Xbox 360 isn't all that far removed from a PC in function, besides a crappy interface.

Well, I think those people really nailed most of it. I couldn't quite get the story when I was younger; I think I played it when I was about 12. I grew up pretty religious, and it was strange — almost scary — to see some of the themes that were being tackled. I'd see the "good guy turn bad" story before, but never

I totally agree; XCOM deserves the win. I myself am a console-baby, only recently having delved into PC-centric gaming, and I've never been comfortable with Strategy games. In fact, the only "Tactical" game I ever really like was Final Fantasy Tactics (and a brief time with the game "Kartia").

Xbox Customer Service can suck a dick. I had to send my first 360 in for repairs FOUR TIMES, and it still red-ringed on me again. When I called again, I got on the phone (obviously, a foreign agency), and the guy winds up insulting me. It eventually leads to — I shit you not — a SCREAMING MATCH between us! And, not to

Huh... well, that's disappointing to hear. I still think highly of their Diamondback mouse, but it sounds like the rest of their offerings definitely don't live up to that standard...

I think you bring up a perfectly valid point; having an incredibly short game has to be held to a different standard. I mean, after all; lots of people praise Skyrim, namely for its breadth of content. If you only got to spend like three or four hours with Skyrim, though, people would be calling it out for being a

Actually, I got a Diamondback mouse from them about ten years ago, and it still works perfectly, and seems really durable. They were always expensive, but to my knowledge, they were always pretty well-built until recently.

Yeah, it's really shameful how poor the quality was on the Onza. It definitely tarnished the Razer name, and frankly, I think they should offer some kind of discount for those of us who had to send the Onza in for more than one repair.

I dunno; I have a hard time putting stock in a game that doesn't *actually* offer choice; merely the illusion of it. I mean, that's fine for your first play-through, but once the "illusion of choice" is shattered, it retroactively makes your first play-through seem insignificant.

I am SO FUCKING ON BOARD WITH THIS!!!!

Yeah, Oblivion was boring as hell, but the Shivering Isles was much more interesting. It still doesn't totally redeem the game's faults, but it was a much stronger experience than the original release, which is really the best DLC can hope to do.

Exactly! I'm all for having a little bit of personality with your Pokemon, but the EV's and IV's simply allow the battlefield to be tilted too far in one person's favor. It should be about strategy, not some arbitrary grind that encourages exploitation.

This is exactly why the EV and IV system in Pokemon is complete bullshit. All it does is create a barrier between the regular/casual player, and the super-hardcore or cheaters. By eliminating those things, and having your Pokemon's stats be based on evolution-family, they could still offer a ton of strategy, without

I completely agree.

Agreed 100%.

I think I'd have to really side with Luke on most of his points. One thing I absolutely *DESPISE*, though, is how they continue to portray the Native Americans as the "noble savage" that continually gets screwed over, when in fact, much of the United States was built upon the foundation laid by Native American
