Really? All I remember seeing was universal praise for Twilight Princess. Personally, I absolutely hated the game, save for some fairly solid character-designs (though Link's in-game model always looked funny to me), but all I remember seeing was 9's and 10's on reviews.

Honestly, Twilight Princess is the only game on his list I actually agree with being overrated. Everything else, I think rightfully earned its popularity, save for Super Paper Mario, which I enjoyed but was underwhelming. I don't think it's "overrated", though, since I actually haven't heard all that much praise for

I like how they think Esquire is respected by anyone over the age of like 17.

So, not to sound like the greedy asshole that I probably am, but... I wonder if anyone besides Mega Man will be playable?

I certainly don't think Dell specifically is going to usher any sort of change, it was merely an example of someone who would benefit from the change. Like you said, it's much more likely that Apple will be the catalyst.

No doubt, as with MS (obviously) and Sony. I think what you'll see more of, though, at least with MS and Sony is a shift away from traditional consoles, and instead towards becoming true "Gaming PC's", fully capable of most PC functionality, save for being compatible with one another.

So... okay, I'm actually pretty excited about this.

Indeed, I've been saying this for a few months. We'll probably see a new MS and Sony generation of traditional consoles, and *maybe* one more Nintendo, but PC's are definitely in the future for Gaming.

I guess that about sums it up, really. There's nothing I dislike about the game, but nothing has really drawn me in, either. I mean, the environments we've seen look nice, which is definitely a plus, but that alone can't be why so many people are excited for it. I suppose the one mark against it is that the characters

I'm going to be honest; I honestly don't see what the big deal is about this game. I'm not saying it looks bad, by any means, nor am I trying to provoke some sensational response; I simply don't get why so many people are going apeshit over it.

I'd have definitely pegged WoW as the winner, simply because it's been nothing short of a phenomenon. Not to take anything away from Half-Life 2, of course, because it's clearly been a revolutionary game, but WoW's influence goes far beyond the Gaming industry, whereas Half-Life 2, frankly, was a "core gamer" game.

Half-Life 2 had an impact on the Gaming industry, but I would argue that World of Warcraft had an impact on Western civilization. I mean, it was a worldwide phenomenon, whereas Half-Life 2 felt confined more to the "world of gamers".

Agreed 100%. Half-Life 2 is an amazing game, and easily in my Top 3 picks, if not #2, but you just can't deny the impact WoW has had.

Man, I loved Lords of Shadow, but I still have some serious questions regarding these new announced sequels. Namely, that the biggest selling point of Lords of Shadow — that it was a whole new continuity, free of the convoluted mess of the originals — is basically cast aside right out of the game.

In fairness, I would be happy to watch Jessica Alba *not* pretend she likes video games.

I'm sorry, but it's too late for this. I refuse to believe that blowing into the cartridge isn't somehow White Magic.

Honestly, I'm gonna have to vote... Tomahawk, Vampire Killer, Minecraft, and TombRaider.

The only thing I'm hoping for is just a *bit* of stealth. I definitely like the emphasis on action this time around, and I definitely commend them on embracing the fact that everyone has always wanted to play Grey Fox (Raiden is close enough now), but it definitely seems odd to be without any sort of true stealth

I'm still pissed over the "Mega Man/Wreck-it Ralph" fiasco. For those who don't know, Dr. Wily was originall in the "Villains Anonymous" meeting, alongside Zangeif and Bison. Yet, "for some reason", Wily was removed and replaced with a generic ninja in the final version of the film, while Zangeif and Bison remained.

Everyone knows that the bitches love Star Wars.
