Agreed. Whatever faults the movie may have had, it succeeded in being creepy as hell, and surprisingly, it seems to become hugely popular around where I live amongst non-gamers as much as gamers, but those two scenes just really felt like they were too much.

I actually really dug the first one, although the Pyramid-Head "sequence", and the near-ending scene were just way too graphic I thought. The ending also really left me hanging. I'm trying to avoid any spoilers, but... does this movie touch base on the first movie? Or is it just it about entirely new characters?

Well, you say my logic is "downright wrong", yet at best, you're looking at the same facts from a different perspective.

Honestly, as a long-time Raider, I both of these reviews do a great job summarizing the state of WoW; it's not a bad game, but it's clearly showing it's age. I've been a fairly hardcore raider for a number of years now (and was even part of a guild ranked the #31 in the entire world, during Icecrown Citadel!), and

Hmm, I may follow-up on that. Sounds like some of the issues are a little better off now.

Hmm, well that's certainly really good to hear! I'll admit, I haven't played in several months, I just know that first month or two had some major, major flaws. Still, if they're really trying to get it back on track, I think an Expansion is definitely the way to pique peoples' interest again. After all, if not for

Honestly, I think the thing that ruined Diablo III — and ruins quite a lot of other games — that Blizzard chose to balance the game around competitive-multiplayer, rather than *just* multiplayer.

Yeah, it seems all style, no substance. And really, the general "vibe" of the story I'm getting doesn't seem terribly interesting; another take on "American government is secretly bad" just feels really tired at this point.

Eh, more power to the guy, but when you're waiting in line, don't you normally have to have at least one person present to hold your spot? I mean, he can wait around the store for a month, but what about when he has to eat, or use a restroom? Hell, can he even take a shower?

Yeah, it definitely doesn't bode well. Granted, the art-style was a little hit-or-miss at certain points (was never crazy about JoeMAD-feet), but there's no doubt that his touch gave Darksiders a great deal of its charm.

Quite a lot better, actually. I agree, the first part of the game looks nice enough, but it's just boring as hell, with really simple puzzles. Once you get to the second area (which does take a little while), the game starts to come into its own a little more.

Well, those other "DLC's" are actually just pre-order perks, as you're not actually downloading anything ("on-disc content", if you will). Argul's Tomb was the first truly new content added.

Second DLC, actually; the first was "Argul's Tomb" :)

Man, that sounds awesome!

Interesting note; apparently Chris Kluwe is good friends with one of the editors at Game Informer, and writes pieces now and then for their online segments. He actually did a fairly good piece on a "beginners guide to XCOM", surprisingly good stuff.

You know, being a redhead myself, I can't help but note how passionate so many people seem to be about *NOT* having Master Chief having red-hair. I mean, nobody really argues about any other facet of his character, but for some reason, people just seem to find the thought of him having red-hair is just borderline

Right?

Wait; does this mean you'll be able to *play* as these guys? Or just summon them?

Well, the issue there is that the right-stick sits diagonally from the face-buttons, while the Wii U's controller is *straight* below. With the current system, you have to move your thumb, but it always remains extended about the same length. With the Wii U's controller, ad least judging from the guy in that video,

Phew, very good to hear! Honestly, I hadn't even considered the thought that your thumb would have to move so far down (as opposed to the other systems' controllers, where you move your thumb more to the left).
