Well, you make a lot of good points, but I still think the people behind this hacking represent some of society's worst. It's not only hackers, of course; there are a lot of real-world thieves and criminals that are just as messed-up, and their effect on people is obviously far worse because of it. By the psychology

You have to remember, though; the internet is an EXTREMELY recent development in human-society. We haven't had thousands, possible millions of years to learn to adapt; to blame people for being too free about information is every bit as idiotic.

True, I'm just saying that at least it's a little more understandable. Going after random citizens, though... you don't know what they could be going through, and it can make life a whole hell of a lot harder, and it can really affect you on a personal and psychological level.

Right?

Yeah, it's a complete and utter lack of emotion towards their fellow human-being. It's one thing when they're doing it to someone who wronged them personally, but to just do it to "whoever"? That's just wrong, in every sense of the word.

Exactly. It's absolutely ridiculous that anyone could try to justify this shit, particularly with that line of reasoning.

Nothing could possibly be as bad as Cataclysm was, though :P

You know, it really pissed me off that people can just fuck with other people, and never be held accountable for it. Worse, still, that they can willfully give themselves a sense of justification (although in some cases, like some guy ripping your friend off, is understandable).

That... isn't good.

This article really nailed it; his presence is something that is going to be sorely missed. I'm still extremely eager to see what he does in the future — be it Gaming, or something else — but I hope more Developers take note, and do their best to be more transparent with their fans in a way that good ol' CliffyB is.

Well, despite my hesitance to believe the initial accusation of racism, but if that was really going down, then good on KIXEYE for really handling shit right away. I often think people see racism where there isn't any, but if there is, then it absolutely shouldn't be tolerated. I'm aware, of course, that racism does

You know, I'm okay with dubstep. And I have fond memories of watching Power Rangers back in the early 90's.

Yeah, being forced into a specific color kinda sucks, along with them being such bland colors to begin with. I'm seriously hungry for a Purple or Orange console, dammit! Barring that, I'm also eager to see any Special Edition consoles they come out with.

Actually, I think each pack has 3 levels, rounding out a full "Coin Rush" run.

Yeah, no kidding; he was one of the few American developers who wasn't afraid to actually speak publicly. He had a presence in the industry that I don't think can ever be replaced.

I think people pretending they're "big, dangerous, manly-men" is a far bigger problem, one borne out of either insecurity or ignorance. I don't just flock to stuff because it's all "bright-and-cheery", and I'm not averted to enjoying a little mindless-fun now and then. I'm just saying, if you think something is "gay"

The meaning of the quote is that it's more childish to wish to be perceive "as an adult", than to just have fun doing what you enjoy. That's something I think more people could really learn from, particularly in the place I grew up.

I think you confuse "wholesome" with "kiddy". I actually made a post about this a few days ago, but I really think it speaks more of people who bash things for being family-friendly, rather than just accepting it for what it is. Not to harp on it too much, but I've seen enough guns and violence from my own childhood

If it is, then someone at Blizzard is retarded, since I can tell you first-hand that teens want "dark, gritty realism", or "deep, emotional drama" far more than bright, vibrant worlds filled with Pandas. Trust me; there are a lot of teenagers in my family, and they pretty much all think the "Kung-Fu Panda expansion"

Yeah, leveling in WoW is definitely its Achilles' Heel, as it just takes too goddamn long, and isn't particularly exciting. It's a shame, of course, because there's actually some genuinely good story tucked-away in many of the quests, and there's still no game that's even come close to the sense of cooperation when
