First off, only a child requires game to be "serious" and "gritty" to be able to enjoy it.

Could very well be. Like I said, I'm not taking sides or anything, I just always take stories like this with a grain of salt. If his co-workers really were making racist jokes (and yeah, slavery-jokes are still extremely racist), then he certainly has a right to be pissed, and to take legal action.

Aww man, that Super Mario 3DS is THE SHIT!!! I may honestly have to break down and get me one of those, if they come state-side.

I'm just saying, it's far more common for someone to complain about racism than for any actual blatant racism to take place. That's not to say the guy is a liar, but honestly, this is the sort of thing that I require proof before I just take someone at their word. Racism is absolutely a horrendous thing, but to be

Eh, it *does* kind of seem like the guy took it a little too personally. Of course, there's no way any of us could know the truth; all we can really go by is perception.

I'm still goddamn furious that Sony refuses to support the PSP-Go. It's honestly the most convenient handheld ever made (unless you count phones), and it's surprisingly comfortable; even with my big, stupid American hands, I can play it for hours at a time and not feel the need to rest my hands (which, surprisingly, I

Well, I think the prices seem fair (although I might have pegged the Ranking-system as a free update), but the content itself doesn't really do anything for me. The Nerve-Wrack Pack I think is gonna be super entertaining to watch YouTube videos of, but it looks far beyond my skill-level.

I'm still quite interested in how the Ouya is received. It has massive potential, but then, so do a lot of great ideas; potential hardly equates to success.

At what cost? If you were suddenly prone to epileptic seizures, I'm not sure it's any better. I't just like the threat of chemical warfare; would you really be happy to survive an attack if it meant you and your children might suffer physical deformities on a genetic level?

Christ, it really is frightening the depths that humanity will delve, simply to have dominance. Granted, I'm an American citizen, so perhaps it's in poor taste to complain when I'm kind of enjoying the fruits of similar labor, but this seems like it's delving into territory that, honestly, might be considered worse

Aye, it'll be a long time before this gets a GOTY edition, methinks. Still, if you have the patience, more power to ya; I imagine the community will still be going strong if you choose to wait :)

Also, I think having an actual day and night cycle changes the feel quite a bit. It's subtle, but has a big impact when you're first being introduced to certain areas.

More like "Game of ThrOWNZ"!!! Am I right?

You know, it is interesting to note how stark the contrast in tone is, from BL1 to BL2. Like you point out, the first game's opening was just crazy and very up-beat. The sequel's is very somber, which kind of seems at-odds with the vast amount of humor. Then again, maybe that just enhances the humor?

Huh, definitely a bit concerning. That's a pretty dramatic difference on the still-shots, though in action, I'm honestly not sure I would ever be able to spot the difference. It does make me wonder if I should've dropped the 360 version, though, in favor of the PC (which I would have anyways, but the ULCE sold out on

You know, it's hard to deny how suspicious it is that both are leaving at the same time, not so terribly long after the acquisition by EA. After all, EA is slapping the name "BioWare" around willy-nilly, definitely quite unusual.

Oh, developing for the Wii U is going to be a bitch, I'm sure; Nintendo doesn't have a great history of making consoles with *other* developers in mind. More what I'm getting at, though, is I don't foresee Microsoft or Sony making a huge leap forward with their next consoles; it will probably be updated tech, as

I think that's a pretty strong point. Nintendo, in general, is far too picky about what titles is "allowed" on their platforms, and it's really starting to catch up with them. I forget who said it, but it definitely rings true; Nintendo is the only one who made any money off of the Wii U. They have some amazing

I think the issue, though, is development-costs have really gotten bloated in this generation, and nobody isn't really going to want to support a huge leap like that again, save for Activision and EA.

I knew about the PS3 and 360, couldn't find any hard facts on the Wii U, though.
