Honestly, my OCD used to be really bad. I still suffer from it to some degree, but I'm generally able to keep it suppressed most of the time. I find it's much worse when it comes to video-games though. I don't know whether it's simply because I'm more passionate about games, or because you're given so much control to

Nonsense; the SNES was the real "Golden Era"! Square was on top of the world, with Final Fantasy III/VI, Super Mario RPG, and all sorts of other goodness. Admittedly, though, they definitely did some amazing stuff on Playstation.

You know, that would be one badass picture... if the woman wasn't in such a "sexy pose" stance.

You know what? I can't say I have a shred of sympathy for Wardell, so more power to her for not putting up with a bunch of bullshit, or just "letting it slide" or "moving on".

Honestly... this makes me want to play the game less. I'm just way too emotional when it comes to animals, and there's no way I could handle losing even a virtual dog. :(

Yeah, they're defintiely one of the few developers that I also have a lot of faith in. They've never been the type to rush something out (DNF doesn't count), so I'll be picking up a Season Pass, as well.

If it doesn't make a difference, why don't the just charge for the game up-front? Or release said content with a "Special Edition"? Hell, why do they insist on calling it "DLC", instead of and "Unlocker"?

Asian Dante? Which one are you talking about? The Dante in DMC1 could maybe be considered Italian, but all of the rest have been decidedly "white". The new version of Dante even has crack-teeth.

Hmm, don't suppose anyone was able to capture a video? Even though I'm picking the game up at launch (scored the ULCE, even!), I'm really interested in the Mechromancer. Admittedly, largely because her design is strikingly similar to a suggestion I made on their boards last year (redhead character with a robotic-arm

I think they're just trying to ensure that people don't think it's on-disc content, which for most of us is a hot-button topic. I don't think anybody really has an issue with DLC, even Day-1 DLC, but when it's completely and totally finished content, already on the disc, it just feels a little... dishonest.

Well, if you pre-order, you get her for free (along with some other goodies)! In fact, if you lay down the standard $5 in-store at GameStop, they should give you the "Premiere Club" code when the game comes out, without even having to pick the actual game up.

You know, I absolutely hated XIII, and I didn't even try XIII-2... but this actually sounds interesting.

Microsoft really does have the shittiest Customer Service in existence. I had to send my original Elite in for repair FOUR TIMES, and when it broke down the last time, I got on the phone with someone whom I literally had a screaming-match with. That is the only time in my entire life that I've *yelled* at someone over

It's still a bit expensive for my blood, but this is definitely *EXACTLY* the kind of product that I think will usher in a new surge of PC gamers. Being a life-long console-gamer, myself, this addresses practically all of the concerns I have about migrating to PC as my main source of entertainment, and even then some.

Yeesh, I've not had a chance to play it yet, but your impressions definitely make me concerned whether the game will truly live up to the Castlevania name. I love the Lords of Shadow reboot and all, but I really agree that Sprites would look better, and probably lend itself to better gameplay.

Well, part of the issue is that, from what I gather, *most* studios lay off a lot of people after their MMO launches. Seems odd to me, but hey, that's what I hear.

Yeah, I think it was said that it was Capcom's decision. Horrible, HORRIBLE choice on their part. I understand them wanting to cross-market the new DmC, but he's in a game that isn't even out yet; how on earth is that iconic?

Very sad to here, indeed. Best of luck to all of the people at Paragon Studios; it was really an amazing game!

Mike Fahey, you prove again why you're my favorite Kotaku writer!

Yup. There are different kinds of OCD, but for me, there were certain things that kind of triggered it more than other times, and once I recognized them, I could deal with them individually. My OCD was never as serious as a lot of peoples', though; it's different for different people, though many cases
