What a truly glorious beard!!!
What a truly glorious beard!!!
I agree, although it could stand to be a *BIT* less harsh. Maybe, after so much inactivity, your character's name is release for others to use?
I should warn you beforehand that it loses some of its "magic", since part of what makes it so special is the build-up, and then finally realize where exactly you are. I won't spoil it, but... it's really powerful stuff.
I'm just saying, if I just returned from the afterlife having saved the entire world from the brink of destruction, I don't think I should have to start a series of drunken brawls to prove myself to the Thieves Guild :P
True, but even you have to admit; Sovngarde was pretty badass to actually visit. Certainly more could've been done with the ending — and it's really annoying to supposedly be this world-famous Dragonborn, but still given menial tasks to "prove your worth" to various factions — but that trip to Sovngarde, along with…
Actually, the main story is actually pretty decent. Super cliche, but surprisingly well delivered. Plus, the "final area" has the best music I think I've ever heard...
I couldn't agree more with this topic. It's honestly a huge reason why I've sworn-off Capcom games.
This would be super exciting...
I bust out laughing when she said "Like tent-inception" :D
Very good article! I'll admit, I've not played a JRPG since Final Fantasy X (unless you count the Kingdom Hearts games?), even even that one was especially bloated, as I recall allowing you to reach a whopping 99,999 health and damage.
Hmm... color me interested. I'll have to check out the combat system, but I'm a sucker for Akira Toriyama's art-style, and it looks pretty well-realized.
Honestly, I think the biggest reason people are looking forward to this is that the "experience" is going to be much more familiar. Compared to playing a game on your phone or a tablet, this is the gaming-equivalent of going to see a movie at a theater; not just that it has a big screen, but that you get to share the…
Great article! Honestly, the barrier between Developer and Consumer seems like it would be counter-productive. I mean, Developers may be the ones making the games, but Consumers are the ones buying them; and considering we now have an entire generation of people who've grown up playing video-games their whole lives,…
Actually, apparently I wasn't looking closely enough; it's actually a very rich Brown color. Now *THAT* is sexy!
Am I the only one who prefers the standard color over the "Special Edition"?
Ooh Yuh
It's 200 Cartel Coins per month, but only starting this month; any previous months subscribed aren't counted.
Matte... ugh.
Meh, I think subscription-based games can definitely succeed, it just requires a *LOT* of content to be rolled out fairly regular. I know a lot of people aren't crazy about the subscription model, which is understandable, but there are definitely perks to it.
You know, it's a shame; the actual *environments* were top-notch, save for some of the Space Ships (namely the Jedi one). It's just the character-models that were... ugh.
