Well, hopefully this will prove a much more successful route for them. It's also very nice to hear those of us who sprang for the Collector's Edition will be getting additional content, since the original perks were... less than memorable, save for a pretty sweet Speeder.

I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest Adventure-game fan, but... that artwork is simply too gorgeous to ignore.

So... anyone else *REALLY* hoping Nintendo considers adding new Playable-Characters as DLC for the game? I would ***LOVE*** to be able to play as Yoshi, just as I'm sure there are a lot of Peach and Daisy fans, or even Wario and Waluigi.

It's the same, but it's definitely beefed up for NSMB2. Also, it's not surprising you didn't know about it; even if you did play the game, the Coin-Block Hat only appears in like 2 levels in the entire game anyways, and is kind of a "secret" anyways.

I love you all!

Same :D

Well, it's hard to judge voice-acting when the dialogue itself is just that bad; it's not something the actors themselves have any control over. Except Diablo and Maghda; those two were just horrendously voiced.

Agreed, they really messed up on that front. It was just way too damned easy, which was also a complaint of Diablo II as I recall. In fairness, I suppose they were probably hoping to hook a lot of WoW players who hadn't previous touched a Diablo game, but it's still a bit disappointing.

It actually gets a lot better in Nightmare and the earlier Acts of Hell, since the challenge picks up without feeling too constricting. It's certainly not a perfect game, but I had fun with it for a while.

Yeah, I like D3 well enough, but its Story and dialogue... it's really some of the worst in recent history.

EDIT: This apparently didn't show up under the right post or topic. Hrmm, dunno how I got that flubbed-up. Anyways, very interesting article, Mr. Plunkett! It is curious to see the difference there.

Well, it's something that's genuinely affected the gameplay experience for me. I realize that it's not something that would even bother most people, but I don't think I should have to try to play "take-back", either.

I didn't "write an article", I made a post on Speak-up; it's just seemingly random conversations, and Kotaku just happens to pick some to their "Speak-up on Kotaku" segment each day.

Jesus Christ, apparently I've opened up the Ten Circles of Hell because I'm getting spammed with nasty messages over this! Real nice, guys : /

Eh, many of us have been forced to make a lot of sacrifices, which sadly includes Gaming, since we've been laid-off. Steam sales are about the only way I can afford to fund my hobby anymore.

Well, I would say the console-commands are a lot simpler. "f" gives you gold and "kill", well, you know what that does. You also have "killall" for those situations where you just don't give a crap :P

For the record, I love having access to the many mods of Skyrim! However, I just wanted to point out that this is most certainly a downside, as these things (mods and console-commands) are a constant temptation that is difficult to ignore.

Sure, but it would be like leaving a piping-hot pizza in front of someone who is morbidly obese and saying "Now I'm going to be gone for a few days, but I really want you to get on a diet and not to eat this pizza".

I completely agree; once you're dealing with 650 or higher, they just become completely meaningless to you. Not to mention, you're supposed to catch one of each gender, Shiny and Normal, as well as one of each Nationality? Seriously, how in the *HELL* are you supposed to realistically complete that?

Yeah, that part just killed me!
