(Also slowly raises hand.)

It saddens me that I have no Halloween parties to look forward to... possibly ever.

Wondering that myself.

Eh, I didn't mean to spark some argument or anything! I just assumed, given AC3 is revolving around a Native American, and that this is being released at the same time, it stood to reason that she, too, was Native American. I mean, we never got a clear look at her face, and given that many Natives sport darker skin, I

Hmm, is she? Honestly, she looks much more Native American to me, but then again I suppose I'm a poor judge on that.

I think I'm honestly going to have to break down and get that Vile figure.

Question; how do we go about reserving our Username? Or will that come later? Because, yeah, that's the biggie for me :P

Wow, very good to hear! I was afraid that the main audience behind this were going to be a bunch of cheapsters (such as myself), and that this fantastic idea simply wouldn't get funded.

Oi, that is a sad, sad tale. You know, you can actually pick it up on Wii's Virtual Console now, and the original probably isn't terribly expensive to pick up anymore I should think. I actually made the mistake up buying the SNES version for $80 like two weeks before they released it on VC. At which point, I bought it

Man, watching that video is such a trip down memory lane.

Honestly, it's a game that I could see doing *EXTREMELY* well if remade. Play up the character's sense of humor, commission Tetsuya Nomura himself to update his appearance, and maybe release it on Mobile platforms, and you'd have yourself a fantastic on-the-go RPG.

I probably wouldn't. But then, his in-game sprite always shows him with a glorious mane of brown hair. In fair, I daresay he's the first video-game character to rock the faux-hawk.

Yeah, it definitely holds a special place for me, as well. And that music... honestly, I'm a sucker for video-game music, and it's probably because this game sparked that interest for me.

I think he makes a good analogy at the end, actually. Mystic Quest is a little bit "mindless" as times, but it can certainly be fun in its own way.

Yeah, Mystic Quest definitely doesn't hold up well. Still, the soundtrack is still pretty amazing.

Now playing

For those who've never experienced Mystic Quest or its music, here are a few of the stand-out tracks:

Right?

You know what? Good on Square for not stooping to microtransactions! It does make me wonder how this "Character Booster" is going to work, though.

Anyone else getting an error message "You Elite Status gift has already been redeemed."?

Dammit! I only have Gold-status, but I would *LOVE* those playing cards!!!
