Yeah, I definitely love the *concept* behind TP, focusing on a little more mature side of the Zelda series, but the execution just seemed a little flawed. I think they really nailed Link's clothing, as well as Zelda and Ganon, though Link himself still felt a little too "cheery" for the narrative, along with his

Hah, I actually made a Speak-up headline!

Actually, that's incorrect. Even in the "Mega Man Zero" series, he had no connections with Dr Light or Mega Man in any way, besides being friends with Mega Man X.

I'll admit, it's not really something I ever considered before, but definitely something worth thinking about. Good idea! :)

I'm saying *everyone* needs to have thicker skin. But definitely, the original writer should've known there would be consequences. After all, this isn't just some personal blog or FaceBook post; this is an actual article that will be seen by thousands.

I absolutely agree, people take this stuff way too far. But again, as anyone who has used the internet for more than a few weeks knows, that's just how people are. All you can really do is develop a thicker skin.

That's kind of the thing, though; I think we've kind of moved beyond being a "geek culture", and playing video games is just "something we do". I don't identify myself as a "gamer" any more than I consider myself a firefighter, crappy basketball player, or soldier. I'm a person, in the world.

I know, it makes me sad. Online Co-op has its merits, but will never replace split-screen, in my opinion. Nothing beats splitting a pizza over a good campaign with your friends. Guess I'll have to continue praying for Borderlands 2 to come out sooner.

I enjoy how the author of the "apology" isn't above indirectly insulting the very same people that the author of the original post did.

Is anyone else bummed about the lack of couch co-op? My friend's wife is outta town to the weekend, and we were planning on just spending the whole weekend on this — until I found out there's no split-screen.

That woman is too damn cute. Curse you, penis; why can't you ever let me *not* stare at beautiful women?!

The Metroid Prime series, and the Portal series (the first is included with The Orange Box). Trust me, you and your kid will both enjoy these games. Portal has some great puzzles, and Metroid Prime is very forgiving while also giving the thrill of fighting enemies, while also exploring and upgrading your character.

I have to wonder, now that Itagaki is out of the picture, if they'll finally delve into full nudity...

Honestly, I can't say it's something I would necessarily be angry about (although it certainly does bring into question whether the second-stick was intended and then cut), but I definitely think the 3DS has had some flaws.

That post just made my week. Maybe even year.

As said, this is the standard occurrence for systems in development. I think people are just getting concerned because, as Luke Plunkett says, the 3DS definitely felt rushed; moreso now that we see it obviously has dual-stick capabilities that weren't capitalized on with the original release.

Question; what about doing a mock-up with the Right-Slider *above* the face buttons? Kind of like the Wii U?

Nintendo, you really need to ditch your attachment to the "DS" and "Wii" brand-names. Almost everyone I've met thinks the 3DS is — you guessed it — a DS with a 3D screen. And of the few who've heard about the Wii U, they've asked me "So what's new?", implying that they think it's just an updated Wii.

Preach on, brotha.

I have to admit, even though I don't have a 3DS yet (and as the article mentions, I don't plan on getting one now until a new model is release, with additional stick and battery-life improvements), I foresee the 3DS making a comeback. After all, the original DS had a pretty abysmal launch of its own, but didn't really
