Well, take from it what you will, but the fact is this; Nintendo's cutting the 3DS's price by such a significant amount has convinced me to purchase one, even though I didn't intend to until a subsequent model had been released.

I wouldn't even say it'll turn the hardcore market away; chances are, the casual market won't even realize the different. I mean, honestly, the name "Wii U' just sounds like an upgraded Wii; a Wii 1.5, if you will.
