Same here; I like that "For gamers, By gamers" vibe of the site, but the redesign has been bullocks. Not just that it's a bad redesign (not the worst thing ever, but bad nonetheless), but it really discourages users to discuss things.

In fairness, they do some pretty shady stuff. For instance, in the one I used to frequent, if a game was returned less than a week later, being a new purchase, they would re-seal it and sell it as a new copy; for all I know, it may be a practice they still participate in.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work correctly for all of us. The moment I click on an article, it's right back to this shit, and the *community* aspect of Kotaku will probably never be the same.

Honestly, I'm pretty certain I won't be picking up one of these unless they implement some *real* joysticks, similar to their own "Classic Controller" for the Wii. It's the biggest reason I've held off from picking up a 3DS, I sure as hell don't plan on buying a home console that isn't comfortable.
