The real potential here is for multiplayer. When you're playing an Action-RPG, you want to be able to access your Equipment Screen and change out items fairly regularly, right? Well, that's great and all for a single-player experience, but you're playing couch co-op, then it winds up as a huge burden, as both players

Hey, Nintendo, I wanna ask you something.

If you already have a 3DS, I would assume the best thing to do would be wait for that. Once you've invested a bunch of time and effort into your town, it's just going to make you sad to start over.

That... was nothing short of amazing to read.

Anyone else think there's something kind of... I dunno, "creepy" about these taller character models? It reminds me of the Ice-cream Man from Legion...

So, whatever happened to that rumor of it looking like a sleeker version of the NES or Famicom? :*(

Aside from the fact that Ninja Theory has a pretty bad track-record in terms of actual gameplay, the game actually looks pretty good. I'm loving that they're going for a more "creepy" vibe, rather than just trying to make everything demonic.

So, was anybody else expecting Reggie to unveil it as the "Nintendo Absolution" or "Absolute"?

Honestly, a controller with a built-in screen is probably the best thing a gamer could ask for. They didn't show off any real use besides using it as a "back-up tv", but the possibilities are staggering; it's something I've been hoping for, ever since the Dreamcast's VMU.

Honestly, the "Detective Mode" idea just instantly sold me. Not that I'd want to buy it yet again, but imagine playing Metroit Prime, and simply pointing the controller at the screen when you wanted to scan something?

Let me start by saying this; name the "WiiU" sucks. Now, on to business.

Agreed, it's visually offensive to have half the screen covered in ads — particularly when you're on the "Home" tab.

They really ought to bust out "Rockman & Forte" as a VC title. While the game was later ported to the GBA, the original SNES has significaly better sound quality, as well as a better-looking screen (due to it being zoomed-out).

Agreed with many other posters, I'm loving the look, even if it is just a mock-up. A sleek version of the old NES? Hellz to the Yeah!

This is exactly how I feel. I'm not gonna sit here and claim that these hackers are the absolute scum of the planet, but they're certainly on the lower end of the spectrum. While some might argue that they "sticking up for our freedoms", I would simply ask why they couldn't "stick up for our freedoms" in such a way

Not *entirely* fair to relieve Ninty. If it happened a few weeks ago, then it's painfully obvious that they had no intention of informing the public until they had good news — the same judgment call that Sony made. The only difference is that Nintendo *had* good news, likely due to better security measures.

I think you may have heard wrong about a 360 release. Still, there are a ton of MMO's going the free-to-play route, so you never know. Unfortunately, free-to-play also means the quality tends to suffer, in the case of most of these games.

I'm kind of agreeing with you. Much as I love me some Star Wars, something just feels... "Meh" about the whole thing.

Aaaaaaaaaand all immersion is lost, once glued-to-back weaponry rears its ugly head.
