Not only that, but can you imagine how many smudges you're going to leave on the screen? It's the biggest issue I have with games on the iPhone, to be honest; if I'm playing the game while I'm out-and-about, I may not have the time to properly disinfect my hands at any given moment.

Just curious, who is that girl pictured with the "yaeba"? She's cute as hell :D

I actually have the comic, and loved that interpretation of him; especially his eerily-long arms. Like you said, this picture depicts him noticeably bulkier; the concern is that, with this being the latest appearance, and the first "official" look at him, it leads me to believe that this is the version we're more

Totally agreed. The first game was amazing, when you consider it was the team's first game... but they're definitely going to have to step their game up for a sequel.

You could invest in an Arcade-style "FightStick", and play some Marvel vs Capcom 3 or Mortal Kombat, both of which are amazing games. I would definitely steer you towards Mortal Kombat, though, as the game offers a lot more single-player content, and I foresee it having a much longer-lasting community, especially as

Well said; I definitely see what you mean on the "superhero" comparison. As far as War, my only real complaint was that his "gauntlet" was laughably disproportionate to his other arm, which was actually fairly realistic. His torso and legs, though, were also pretty "beefy", so far from the best character design in the

It's scary how similar they are, actually.

I get the feeling that it's just a mask, probably making a plot-point in which we get to see him "unmasked" at some point.

Even though I think you're stereotyping American-made comics... I completely agree with you in this case. I think the first game's War was fine, because we're talking about the physical embodiment of War itself, so it makes sense he would sport an over-the-top physique.

The only things I'm not *quite* digging, are A) dual-wielding scythes, simply because it seems kind of a bizarre choice, and B) his appearance is much more Warrior-like than I would've pegged Death.

Truly, that is a beard worthy only of the greatest of Heroes.

/Highfive!

Can we agree, redheads are hot as hell?

Loving the FF7 Advent Children one (ie "the one with the wolf-head").

Sadly, this is what's becoming of our world. Even though I can certainly appreciate the concept — protecting citizens from further identity fraud — I find this increasing need to monitor and "protect" people bordering on unconstitutional.

I know, but that's *all* they are; Red and Blue versions of the same Tunic. In Twilight Princess, the "Blue Tunic" also sported some Zora armor, webbed-feet boots, and a face-mask. The "Red Tunic" was a little less unique, essentially just throwing on some generic armor, but was very cool nonetheless.

I think a big part of Gears 1 was the Berzerkers; they really got your blood pumping, and were always a blast when playing co-op. Also, the piranha-bat things were pretty cool. The insta-kill rain is Gears 2 has a similar effect, but it just didn't have the same "vibe".

Far and away, the best one here! :D

Any news when Playstation Store will be back up?

Oh wow, I can't believe I overlooked that. Yeah, that definitely changes things : /
