I have to ask...
I have to ask...
@Twyst3d: I don't think that 3D is necessarily more-evolved than 2D games.
I still believe they need to port Castle Crashers to the DS, and add Link/Navi to the roster.
Nintendo, you need to hire this man *NOW*, and make this dream-game a reality!!!
@Android_seb: What's new?
You know, it really is a shame that the Dreamcast didn't do more successfully. Sonic Team really had an amazing artistic vision and gameplay philosophy when the Dreamcast first hit.
Include Phantasy Star Online, complete with Blue Burst/Episode 4, and I'm sold.
I'm going to be totally honest here; I would almost pay that price purely for the controller. Any chance it will connect to PC, 360, or even PS3?
@CowboyBebopCrew: I think it falls under both.
I'm not sure what it is, but Fable really lost me after the first game. Seems like a game that almost focuses on doing too many things, but never really succeeds at mastering anything.
@JGab: Exactly. That's why I take issue with the Super Guide, is that it seems like a cheap way for game designers to remove difficulty, rather than taking responsibility for not preparing the player enough.
@Hatebunny: Exactly! Although, in fairness, I actually know a lot of people who loved the movie, although none of them had even heard of the games.
@SomethingClever: Yes.
@Hatebunny: Agreed. The script needed work, but it *felt* like Silent Hill, and that's all that really matters, as far as fans go.
@JGab: In fairness, NSMB Wii is a Party-game, so the standard difficulty-curve need not apply.
I think the issue people have with Samus' personality in this game (admittedly, myself included), is that she was a bit androgynous before. Even though we knew her to be a woman, we could kind of envision ourselves fighting our way through the games.
Two reasons.
Fahey, you are far-and-away my favorite writer.
@JGab: Touche', I just hate seeing almost *all* games going to the easier difficulty. I certainly don't want to see a ton of games with Ninja Gaiden-like difficulty, but I definitely appreciate some challenge in a game; challenge, I fear, which is going the way of the dodo.
@Veit: Touche', I suppose it just seems strange to me that anyone would play a game, and not really want to be "good" at it.
