This makes me sad. Sad for the little girl, and sad for the dog. :*(

Bah, Mega Man Powered Up should be ***THE*** first game you purchase for the PSP. If you have even the faintest interest in anything side-scrolling-related, MMPU is far-and-away the best title on the system. Tons of replay value, bold and unique character designs (boasting 12 playable characters), awesome voice-acting

@RockyRan: I'm totally with you. I love me some good CGI, but it just doesn't make a great trailer.

@bangbangblah: Yessir. Granted, it's not like it's some technical feat or anything, just a design choice that looks a little less awkward. Makes him look more like a buzz-saw, rather than a character trying to cut things with his Goku-like hair.

@magiczero: I'm in total agreement. Sega really did a much better job than they're given credit for, which I think is what's lead to their horrible quality now,

@bangbangblah: Basically what DeadnBuried posted. Even though the trailer shows Sonic roll up into a ball, in the older games, he actually *became* a ball, with no distinguishing features, save for maybe a red streak to represent his shoes.

@Krimaira: Still, nothing can tarnish my memories of how awesome it was seeing Sonic Adventure for the first time. It was definitely an underrated game, given how new the idea of camera-control was.

After watching the trailer again, I think they need to work on the "spinning/ball" animation. I think Sonic Adventure got it right, he kind of turns into a 'marble', and you just get a few glimpses to his actual model.

@Krimaira: I know, I was just referring to the old Genesis days, when everyone assumed he was a hedgehog like Sonic :P

Something still looks a little... "off". Plus, as a big Knuckles fan, it's hard to get excited with no sign of the ol' "red hedgehog" in sight.

@The MSJ: I'm... not really sure what you're getting at with that.

@IXA: Well, that's sort of my point; there's a clear divide between the game and meta-game. I'm sure much of it was just general naivety amongst fans, but when the originals were out, it felt more like every person had a genuine shot at playing competitively, using the very same Pokemon they may have started the game

So, is it just me, or could this entire article basically be summed up as "We really wanted to make the fans angry"? Because, by all accounts, they seem to have realized the reaction it would have, and went through with it anyways.

@IXA: Well, my issue with the later games is it just feels like there are *too* many Pokemon, to the point you don't even feel like bothering to memorize their stats or moves.

On a slightly different note, anyone else they would remake the original Red&Blue/Green versions for the Wii? Just stick with the original 151, and maybe a select few of the later Pokemon as events.

@Muckamuck: Agreed. As iconic as Dante's original design was, it's not what really made the game so memorable; it was that slightly humorous side to it. Same with Bayonetta, the first game just never took itself too seriously, perhaps with the exception of the infamous "Fill your heart with LII-IGHT" line.

Say what you want, Milla Jovavich is a damned beautiful woman. And Ali Larter isn't too shabby, either.

Even though I know it wasn't really a "good game", I couldn't help but get hooked to Dissidia. It's like Smash Bros.

Cody, Abel, Vega, and Balrog; Hell. Yes.
