I also read several stories about this and they all used the old name once for clarity. Makes perfect sense.

Attitudes like this are why there is some pushback. Accept that there is a transition period and accept that it takes some people longer than others to reach the end point. There doesn’t always have to be malice behind it, no matter how many ‘enemies’ you can imagine up.
