I had a Volt and now have a BMW 330e.  Both PHEVs.  I’d LOVE to see a PHEV diesel.  Ideally a wagon, naturally.  30 miles or so of electric for around town and 50-60mpg on the highway with huge range would be awesome.

For performance purposes, and after tires, brakes, safety stuff, if you have a modern turbo car, an ECU flash. It’s almost unbelievable to me as a somewhat-old-timer that you can pay $500, plug a TV remote into your dash, press a button and come out making 50hp and 100lb-ft more and sometimes still be covered under…

GLH & S are absolutely awesome.  The American take on hot hatches from way back in the 80s.

It looks like someone took a magnifying glass to a CLA, and that’s in no way a compliment.

Not a fan of the GT body style myself but I’m suitably impressed by the powertrains in that era.  I just picked up a 2016 330e (the plug-in hybrid) and the ability to tune it is insane.

The C4 Corvette is not only not a bad car overall, it’s a fantastic choice at the sub-$10k price point decent ones sell for.

My takeaway here is the PS4 version looks much better than I expected it to, in comparison.

Time to beat the dead horse -- You don’t need AWD, you need winter tires.  If the snow is too much of an issue in terms of depth for your current car, you need something taller -- But is that really the case?

Great idea for short-term backups, pretty awful for long term.  It would be awesome to have this to cover a day but a week at a time leaves you with no power in house or vehicle.  

Not really irony, I bet the driver hasn’t considered gas prices in a long time.  It literally makes no difference to someone like that if it’s $1/gal or $20/gal.
