That one. In the picture. I’ve had this opinion for some time. Failing that, an early-to-mid 70s Eldorado convertible.
The 2014 straight up shouldn’t be here. “In 2024, the average age of cars and light trucks in the United States was 12.6 years, a record high.”
The economy is so fucked a good chunk of the populace can’t afford newer.
I doubt any P1 owner (save the crash rebuild Youtubers) would bat an eye at a $160k battery replacement in that car. It’s a rounding error to them and probably part of their expected running costs.
The buyer’s premium was more than the car they should’ve bought, that $29k red manual one.
2016 BMW 330e - Preconditioning via the keyfob works great and warms the car well. The car is specced with heated seats and steering wheel. Preconditioning doesn’t trigger those in the cold, and it can’t be configured to in the settings or even in the mystical backwoods of the ECU using BimmerCode.
Nuts.
Crazy Vaclav yells “PUT IT IN B!”
The Ssangyong OH NO-dius!
$8 for a frozen pizza?!?!?!?!??!?!
$1.00 to enter.
$150 to leave.
Makes me think of the dude who sold his work truck and ended up seeing it being used by al-Qaeda, logos and all.
I hate Domino’s pizza and their heavy-handed approach so let’s all go in to buy this thing and ship it to some war-torn area.
Avoid the Noid! He has an RPG!
Love the uniqueness but if I’m after an FWD Miata alternative I want an Elan or an MGF.
Edd China is part of “a pair of budding wrenchers?” Edd’s internationally known as the type of Mechanic who could tackle this without breaking a sweat. If you haven’t already the first seasons of Wheeler Dealers where he handles the wrenches are worth the watch.
Have an ‘18. I’m not a big minivan fan but have to agree on the practicality. We’re a family of 4 with two car seats but it takes <30 seconds to drop the back seat into the floor to give a gigantic, flat-floored load space. It gets >30mpg on the highway with a gentle foot and at ~70k miles has been surprisingly…
Agree to a point. You just have to approach this that this is not a $30k car, it’s a $50k car. With that buffer and the willingness to roll up your sleeves or a good indy mechanic it’s doable.
And at $50k I’d say it’s one of the more interesting propositions. I’d probably go with one with the BMW motor though.
It was only a SMALL explosion. Inconsequential, really. I mean, I’ll miss my wife, but what can you do? Have you SEEN those cool headlights?
Obviously all that information was readily available to him during the interview...
They’re not volume but to be fair... Viper, Prowler, Neon ACR were all competent and interesting 90s Chryslers.
“Intersection” = “Junction.”
So, so many people don’t strap their kids in properly. Straps should be tight - they aren’t uncomfortable, they’re safe.
