38 year old Volt owner. A secondhand one is definitely on my radar to replace my Gen 1 Volt in a couple of years, but I think it’ll be a hard sell against the Clarity PHEV.
This whole train of thought is utterly wrong for PHEVs. First, it doesn’t matter if you don’t plug it in as you can still get around. Second, since it’s a PHEV it generally charges much slower than an electric car so hauling the EVSE (“Charger”) with you is usually pointless.

It was a horrendous little car. My Mum had one when I was a kid. It left us stranded on multiple occasions due to clutch cable failure.
