to be blunt, by just looking at the gameplay previews of it, its high scores are NOT that surprising. Also, the thing reminds me of Skyrim, so thats always good.

Thank you for that rundown, it was very informative!
From what I understand there was significant pressure from Publisher Sega to deliver a Simultaneous release. As such a third party was brought in for the PS3 port, namely what was then Nex Entertainment. As in almost every other Xbox 360 lead-platform title Platinum Games / Nex ran into difficulty converting the…
I'd never heard of the issues surrounding the PS3 port. How did that ever get out of QA? When your game appears to be dropping to 10 FPS or so at times I'd say that's a good reason to hold onto it for polishing.
And I'm pretty sure nVidia will never forget 3dfx either :).

Right there with you. I was working at an Electronics Boutique when my manager got the idea to throw a LAN party/competition. There was one computer with Voodoo, and everyone was paying attention to it. (Though to be fair, I also remember the game, Kingpin. But that's more to do with the fact that we were required…

I endorse this viewpoint. While at times it seems like mobile is taking over, the core gamers are always the core gamers, and some percentage of those tens of millions playing mobile will make their way over. It may feel like we're outnumbered, but it's two different markets, one slowly feeding off the other in a…

In my defense, though, there were still some loot drops there that did contain at least some new upgrades.
Oh, crap, no joke, that was me. I didn't realize Bungie had nerfed the cave until it was too late.
Yeah you can /whisper..I mean General Chat..oh erm maybe PM him? Add him as a friend first. How about going in front of his face and do a "No" emote. Can't do that either? Ahh fuck it..
lol, tragic.
yup, 10 millions as per latest stats. I'm one of them and don't regret the purchase a bit.
"But knowing that Mars is somewhat lacking in the 16th-century battleship and golf cart departments, there was likely another answer"
Alternative headline: Thousands of People Apparently Ignore Rocks On Earth - Amazed to Find Similar Looking Rock on Mars.
In 1971 astronaut Alan Shepard hit a couple of golf balls on the moon. Hmm... 1/6 gee... low escape velocity... tangent... Hohmann orbit... carry the 2... yeah, could be! Way to go, Al!
That is clearly a Civil War era cannonball. Further proof that John Carter was a real person, and Edgar Rice Burroughs was writing non-fiction the whole time.
Every so often I'm going about my business and then I remember that there is a robot on Mars that is sending back real-time (sort of) pictures of another planet's surface and I am just blow away that we have any trouble at all finding funding for NASA.
