As much as I enjoy pondering the behavior the loot cave inspires (and making jokes about it), I don't think much of the design decisions that led players to it. I think the existence of the loot cave as a phenomenon is an indictment of the game. (As I said in my review, and in the bit cited in this article.)
I can only speak for myself, but when I was at Peak Loot Cave I would do it on Vita via remote play while I watched TV—it's so brainless that I could actually pay attention to whatever was on TV while still making some progress in Destiny. I've also parked my low-level alt there and earned some easy XP, which I'd…
Destiny:
I really don't understand why you would do it. Just from doing bounties I've already gotten 3 legendaries from rep, got lucky with an exotic weapon from the Crucible and then because of the Queens Wrath event going on I was able to get full legendaries (currently lvl 27).
Next time I have an orgasm I really want to say, "Take 3 Satisfaction Tokens from the Intimacy Pool" but I'd just be talking to myself.
Nintendo's been working on this principle for ages:
Maybe just not announce titles until they're being actually worked on and not just visual promos.
I would rather have a game that was delayed until it was finished, than a game that is just shoved out the door to meet a specific deadline/holiday. This idea, especially in console games, that you can just patch it later to make it better is very, very bad. I shouldn't have to drop my hard-earned money on a game that…

Humans like watching TV shows or movies. Maybe sports and probably pornography. Frogs? They totally dig watching…
What about Final Fantasy 10-2 Lol, All girl game.
If the designer/director believe that a female party character won't add anything to his game, then he should not feel guilty about doing that. Nobody needs to feel that they should follow a certain social ethics so that they are forced to add a token character in the game just to please entitled gamers.
If this were a trend in FF games I'd say alright complain, but with the number of FF games out there I don't think it matters if one game has a male heavy cast. I mean there's a lot of practical reasons for people of the same gender to end up experiencing something together. You could argue that they should balance it…
It's a little sad how little they understand the reaction to their own game. People didn't like the cop/criminal part, they liked the gritty, brutal and dramatic story set on the hyper neon background of Hong Kong. It wasn't being the cop people enjoyed, or being the criminal, it was the dichotomy between the two and…
