Honda overpromised and under delivered to McLaren. They outright refused assistance over three years and the relationship was broken as a result of the mistrust, doubts, and poor communications (and because of some stupid hard handed decisions by Ron Dennis). Honda have done a complete overhaul of their entire staff

McLaren is still breaking cars. Toro Rosso isn’t.

Any word on if there will be Japanese language option?

Wile the Halo is a positive step, I’m fairly certain the FIA said it wouldn’t have prevented his death.

So weeks after writing about how unfair it was the big, bad mega spenders Real Madrid (net spend over past 5 years $66M) were taking on poor, non-spending minnows Liverpool (net spend over last 5 years $155M), he’s now applauding a team for already spending over $100M in the summer transfer window a week after it’s

I know it’s a major race for the teams and supposedly there are lots of business transactions that occur at the event. That said, it should be a non-Championship race. Use it to test out new concepts like the reverse grid, qualifying sprint race, that horrible qualfying format from a year or two ago, etc. F1 can also

Verstappen (widely panned around here as a Bad Driver)

I really hate this whole attitude of “he had a great performance, therefore he must be cheating” with zero evidence of the kind of cheating that would enable this kind of Grand Tour performance.

You assume the only thing Froome has used is what he was caught for?

They did an excellent breakdown of why they chose this over other options. Hardly half assed.

I don’t see how Ferrari can justify keeping Kimi. They have to get Ricciardo. If they don’t, then they’re not serious about winning a title. You need the best two drivers you can get and Ricciardo is a definite upgrade. If LeClerc performs as he seems he might, he can slot into Vettel’s seat after two years at Haas.

Merc have hardly been dominant (though they do have the best car, despite their pushing nonsense about Ferrari being the best).

To be replaced by whom? Don’t know that there are any available, non-competitor backed drivers available that would be considered any kind of an upgrade. JEV I guess?

So far, it seems like the archival footage is pretty much the only redeemable factor of F1 TV Pro—which, Gitlin notes, you can find in other places around the Internet.

And here I clicked thru to this thinking it was about Lance Armstrong winning the Tour de Trump.

The F-duct. Driver altered the flow of air through the cockpit with his hand or leg.

So glad they are getting rid of Baku

Because the track is so long, they didn’t take too long to clear it IMO. Only 4 laps to clear Grosjean’s shunt and pull in the safety car. If that had been a regular track (excluding Spa) we’d have likely finished under caution.
