He’s not “protecting” trump, simply commenting on the news stories that said he was right for saying trump didn’t want presidency.

Stern is totally on point here. He was also completely right about Hillary dropping the ball and needing to make herself more likable to those that weren’t already voting for her. This lost her the election. Sure Russia was involved but it should have been in the bag to the point where external influence was just

The BBC report on team orders was released prior to qualifying. It has since been updated in some manner (to report the starting positions for the race) so the timestamp on the article itself shows a more recent time but it was tweeted out prior to qualifying.

I just found it awfully strange that Lauda took the time to clarify team orders moving forward after watching a disappointing run by their superstar in qualifying.
