Don’t see Red Bull really coming into the mix until mid-season at best.

Probably would have been a fight for the lead in the end.

I’d say a little bit of all the above.

First call, not to Congress but Russia...who in turn made a call to Assad. So basically we just wasted millions to pump Trump’s ratings.

Or plotted the whole series of events to begin with...

They warned the Russians ahead of time for fucks sake. This is all just a distraction from bigger issues on the home front.

Looking more and more like there’s something else at play here and it has nothing to do with his health...we’ll see. He did 200 laps the last week of testing and didn’t mention any injury. The withdrawal in Australia was sudden and unexpected. Could be Sauber is trying to work out a deal with Ferrari to get this

You should also note that in pre-season testing, the electrical issues were due to a failure in the PU. Which is on Honda.

I would also follow with the fact that the engine in testing was vibrating so severely that “everything” was coming disconnected. Deny it all you want, whether a pure hatred for McLaren or just a wish to see them fail, whatever. All their known problems regarding reliability are due to the Honda engine. I mean you

You realize every single team uses the same McLaren ECU, right? So to say it’s the ECU seems a bit rich.

Their electrical issue are related to the power unit. The vast majority of blame can be laid solely at the feet of Honda (and Ron Dennis for not letting them add another customer engine for 2016).

Difference was, though, that Senna was a proven winner by then and, but for the unreliability faced by Lotus, could have even already been legitimately contending for titles.

Alonso said it was one of the best, if not the outright best, race he’s ever done. Then he said they have the worst car on the grid. Get ready for a switch of engine.

Botas might be up for a fight. He was closer to Hamilton than Rosberg ever was around that track. And he closed to gap significantly at the end. If he keeps it close for the first few races, they might really have a battle.

Red Bull have more problems than just engine. The car’s aero isn’t sorted and Newey will have some work to do to get things right.

The skinny is that he will be “interviewed” by the committee which is not testimony under oath. As others have said, the word on the street is Flynn has flipped and Team Trump are scrambling...either to get the best deals possible or as part of some sort of organized attempt to control/confuse the narrative.

People tend to get very hung up on that sketch of the suspect. It’s easy to link a million people to the zodiac using that. Close match to loads of people from that time.

Nothing to do with the video but a nice story about a friendly Aussie driver. I lived in Canberra for 4 months for work. I was a dummy and side swiped a ute one day after I misjudged the lane (the whole driving on the other side thing). Found a parking lot to talk it out. Guy was devastated as he had just finished

they didn’t care if he won or not...they just wanted to harm Clinton.

Who knows, maybe he’s got a lighter side that I’m not used to seeing.
