The theme is perfect for me.  The color changes as the day moves forward, the leaves blowing bring attention to the setting and the music is perfectly soothing for me.  It’s never changing.

Kudos to the first directors for getting Captain Marvel started but I feel this director’s single voice will help the sequel narrow in better on what makes Carol...Carol. The first movie seemed lost on how to portray Carol. The scene where Carol learns the truth lacked weight.

Very true. Systemic racism is so engrained that most don’t realize they are part of the problem. All those nice statements, changing or removing of terms in various industries, not calling it the master bedroom, etc. This is all well and good but most of it seems like these are gestures to ease white guilt.

After talking to my stepmom’s brother about his recent battle with COVID, screw the movies. I would only go if it was during the day, between 1-5 PM, and when school/homeschool was in session. Otherwise, I’ll wait for the Blu-Ray.
