You do realize the Mayan calendar is not based on the Gregorian Calendar? With that, the Mayans did not observer Leap Day, which there has been 514 leap years since the inception of the Gregorian Calendar that we use. Thus if you take into account those extra days, you will see the Mayan calendar ended last year...

Same here, born and raised... read Ender's Game, Lord of the Flies, and others. While i am still working my way through Hunger Games, (having read Twilight, Harry Potter, and other YA novels) Surely those can't be any worse than Ender's Game.

Yes, yes I have. I have been working with the Developer preview since it released. While you can use it on your desktop. It is mainly designed to work with touch interface. Other than that, there is no reason to switch to it.
