I'm pretty sure First Class is seen as an attended reboot of the franchise... even though it ties with the other movies... Basically all things flow into First Class and from here on out everything (included Wolverine 2) will flow out of it.

There are some facts here that need to be set straight. The first two games released were Pokemon Red and Green, the third game in the series was Blue. When pokemon went world wide, they released Red and Blue, using the pokemon from Red and Green but using the Graphics from Blue.
