I really don't think security is an issue, which is why I highlighted what (in my opinion) really sets the two OS's apart- apologies if that came across wrong!
Then that would be a strong pro-Android argument for me. Simply installing a different launcher (of which there are quite a few, all trusted and easy to install without needing root) gives you a completely new UI aesthetic, almost a different phone with each one.

I had to return my Arc Touch as the touch pad went haywire, sounding like a tiny machine gun and leaving me stuck in an infinite scroll if you so much as looked at it. Admittedly, I liked it while it worked, but after this and my last Arc (whose silver sides wore off in about two months) I won't ever be buying another…
