My Samsung Galaxy Nexus does have burn-in on the notification, menu, and keyboard locations when displaying anything other than the brightest of screen settings. It's noticeable during full screen gameplay or video watching and it is disappointing.

No. It doesn't. You simply sign up for a Google Voice account and follow the instructions. I'm on big V. However, I give out my Google Voice number to people not on Verizon for texting. Secondly, I can assign any phone I'd like (personal cell, office, cabin, etc.) as a secondary number. When people call my GV number,

Google Voice. I use it all the time. Texting from a PC is ridiculously faster and easier. It doesn't matter what phone you have. Just get the app.

Was called into HR with a very prominent international software company for reasons unbeknownst to me. I sat across from three individuals and had no clue what was about to unfold. They asked me if I knew why I was there. I responded, "No." They proceeded to break out email messages. They were messages from my

Bro. My ex-hag took the same path. Jumped into bed with this (so-called) buddy. I was the last to know of all my circle. She wrecked so many things. I'm over that ridiculous entitled hosebag. She's now dating an old friend from high school...yeah...not what you think. She was his high school teacher. It's truly

Yah. So my ex, an ENGLISH teacher with a master's degree was teaching one day and said something to the effect of..."blah blah blah vignette blah blah blah"

Wait. The PS3 plays Google Play content? Seriously...I'm not trying to douche it up here.

Hilarious. I hooked that same setup into my mom & dad's living room entertainment television viewing system and they love it. When the family gets together, we drag it outside to the deck and everyone is happy. Great little system.

Old school Roland JUNO-60 for the win. Seriously. I don't know if it's better, but I got one back in 1987 and I've held onto it since. It's ridiculously customizable.

well, i bought the Nexus 7 on a whim and had no real "need" for it. but it's been alright. i still don't see a compelling reason how it's "worth it" for me, but my daughter loves it.

Personally speaking, I prefer no hair on my plate when I eat.

Parcels don't actually "touch" the street. The public right-of-way is not included in a parcel layer.

I guess it depends on the size of the parcel, which is what started this conversation. For the most part, parcels are a continuous fabric, aside from right of way "holes". I've been in the GIS field for 6 years. ESRI products mostly. I actually used to work there. My favorite projection? We use a local state plane

Pretty sure those are land parcels and not blocks. But yeah...I'm a map geek. I make them for a living. No haters please. I finally know something about something relevant. Cartography, and GIS in general is pretty low key and not a high-profile venture.

I'm sure it's been said, but, "It's called Google Voice bro."

It's called Google Voice bro.

I try to shy away from new vehicles, so I bought them used. The rest of the stuff I bought new...yes.

1992 GMC Sierra 270,000 miles. 2000 Nissan Maxima 170,000 miles. 50" Panasonic plasma 2006. Dell Inspiron laptop 2005. Optoma projector 2008. Sony receiver 1995. Home-built loudspeakers 1987. Carver amplifier 1986. Two desktop towers circa 2004. Gibson Les Paul 1986. Specialized Rockhopper Sport 1991. Roland Juno-60

I used to work at Snowbowl. Their season depends on snow. I wasn't fond of the GM's arrogance, but I did enjoy the views and the people there. Lots of good memories. I'm actually glad they finally got this ironed out. I'll visit to ski again one day.

That works with me as well...minus the punching small holes and soda straw business.
