Eh, nm.
Eh, nm.
I’d rather just have a reliable car than be on a first name basis with the service writer.
It’s been a long time since I liked the look of Chevy’s 1/2ton trucks. The tailgate and tail-lamp area looks a little fussy, but overall it’s a good looking package (IMHO, of course)
Probably worth the 10 second google:
I’m mixed on the style, I think the 2018(19?) Chevy looks much better. However, I’m much more interested to see what they’ve done in terms of weight reduction, drivetrain innovation, and in general what’s underneath the sheet-metal.
I’m not talking about investors (cash or othwerwise), I’m talking about regular people who buy houses. I bought my house, I live in it, and when I retire and don’t need a big house for a family, I’ll sell it and realize a profit. House = investment.
An RV in a driveway is much different than a trashy looking house with a CAR IN A TREE!
Sorry about the break-ins and the shitty neighbors (I can relate), but do you not have a garage to keep said cars in?
Probably not the most important, but also consider it’s the single largest purchase a person typically makes. I could see why, because of someone’s eccentric idea of art, they get a little touchy because there home is now worth 10% less than it used to be.
V, flat, inline, rotary, radial, etc...
CGI (compacted graphite iron) is a material, not a type of block.
I *think* this is a derivative the Ford AJD-V6 typically found in JLR vehicles. According to our good friend Wikipedia the original design was done by Ford in Europe. They may be producing the engine their as well.
Who said they are using a gas engine block?
Welcome to the world of luxury, performance sedans.
That carbon trim looks awful. I know it’s an option, but the whatever else is available (wood or aluminum, presumably) would be miles better.
Exactly. When did “pretty fast” turn into “monster”?
I won’t lie, I’m digging the Sovereign Citizen Avocado Metallic. Particularly if its a matte finish like it appears in your picture. Maybe some gunmetal or black rims to go with it.
If it’s anything like the 9-speed box in the AMG C43 then I wouldn’t worry.
Maybe it’s because news reporting is just slightly sensationalist and that’s really not a a problem for the other 99.99% of truck owners.
Thanks for the info. I knew magnesium was highly reactive, and that it was also still used with regularity in production cars (and other vehicles). I was not aware of how they mitigated the fire risk.
