The 55mph speed limit was nationally imposed as a knee-jerk reaction by Nixon during the first fuel crisis of 1973 in an attempt to reduce fuel consumption (on a national level). It was generally ignored by most drivers.

If you’re speaking about Chrysler’s Hemi it’s a 2-valve pushrod engine.

Fair enough, but reading comprehension is important. I didn’t say “nothing”, I said “not much” which you proved handily.

Like I said, not much.

The issue is that the only competitive and profitable part of the FCA equation is Ram Trucks and Jeep. Fiat, Chrysler, and Dodge are wasting away for lack of new product (or any product).

LED’s aren’t the only part of the equation. There’s also the driver and the optics to spread/manipulate the beam. A filament bulb is actually going to be much cheaper to produce.

Pulling out a pressure washer makes a quick wash a pain in the ass, a quick wash uses a hose.

Your extra steps, tools, and supplies have made what was a quick wash a total pain in the ass.

But he did a smashing job.

You shouldn’t need to wax a car more than 2-3 times a year if you use a good, polymer wax. Also, 2 hours is for chumps.  Try a foam cannon on your pressure washer. I can wash a full size truck in 30 minutes and a mid size sedan in 20, maybe even faster. That’s probably about the same amount of time you would wait in

There are some that would disagree with that assessment.

Subaru’s in general are boring looking, if not bordering on ugly. They need to make move and steal/hire some top notch design talent Like Hyundai/Kia did with Peter Schreyer. Combine striking design with their reputation of reliability and AWD and they wouldn’t be able to make them fast enough!

I’m pretty sure if you flash enough cash at Porsche they’ll paint it any color you want.

“M-3"? WTF Chevy? Your ad copy is as sloppy as your panel gaps!

I understand the difference between a hybrid and pure electric vehicle. My point is the battery packs in hybrids have been holding up for a long time with next to zero degradation. Some have had cells go bad, but that’s very few.

If hybrid battery packs are any indication it doesn’t seem to be a huge issue. There are many running around that are well over 10 years and 100k miles without a problem.

Tom,

C&D’s review of the Ghibli was pretty critical, essentially saying it was half baked. Transmission, interior, infotainment, engine calibration, all not up to snuff for that class of car (or any really). They gushed over the Giulia QF. There were a couple of minor gripes (rear seat room?), but overall very positive for

More anectodotal evidence. Poorly maintained Honda’s and Toyota’s of similar age and mileage go for more money* and have a reputation for being more reliable.

You can add to the list brakes (not just the lines!) for obvious reasons. “Loose parts”; I see vehicles driving around NE Ohio all the time with fenders, bumpers, and other parts flapping in the breeze waiting to depart and fly into somebody else. Sometimes it’s collision damage, sometimes its a rusted out body.
