I went through my old pics and videos and it appears as though they had the Buzzin Hornets livery for that race.
Midpack? Maybe during the racing, but the results for the season put them firmly at the back. Jordan and Minardi placed 9th and 10th out of 10 for constructors points. The Jordan driver’s scored 11 of their 12 season points in the US race and the Minardi drivers scored all of their season points (seven) in the same…
Would the FTC allow a GM/FCA merger? Even though FCA is a foreign corporation I would assume that the FTC would still have jurisdiction since GM is US based. The merger would give FCA/GM around 30% market share while the next closest, Toyota, would be around 15%.
Reverse: I was at that race. It was my first and, so far, only F1 race and it was truly dissapointing. The race consisted of a couple of Ferrari’s at the front doing parade laps while some junk (the Jordans and Minardis) tried not to look like the backmarker teams they were.
For a nearly $100k all in there are much more interesting options that don’t require assembly.
Since when have poor people been rolling around in kit cars?
That’s a sweet motor, but you have to wonder about the cost of all that custom work.
I didn’t contradict myself, you just don’t understand what I wrote.
The first 90 days gives an indication of quality control. Basically if a manufacturer can’t hang trim pieces correctly and torque bolts the same way every time it shows up in the 90 day reports. There is also a strong corrolary between initial quaility and long term quailty, but the results are kinda fucked now…
Sounds like a typical score for an AFC North game involving Cleveland.
It may not make it look any better (if the paint is in good shape), but a quality wax or sealant will slow oxidation of the paint. It also makes the car easier to keep clean, bugs and other road grime come off a lot easier when the paint is protected.
Huh? No clear coat? Who told you that? I can’t think of a single car that doesn’t have a clear coat. Base coat/clear coat has been the industry standard for quite a while.
Not an Ohio plate.
I took my son to see monster trucks recently, it was a great show for the kids. Gravedigger broke. The driver (not Anderson) must have taken the DGAF lessons from Anderson. He was certainly the most aggressive driver out there.
Hmm, I doubt this catches on for a couple of reasons. As others have stated there may be compatibilityy issues with road surfaces thta are less than perfrect. Secondly that’s a lot of force being fed into the chassis. To handle those loads would require extra “beef” where the thing mounts to the frame. That means…
Did anyone else notice the prancing horse at ~1:42? An intentional nod to Ferarri?
FYI, most cars with proximity keys have a backup key. My car has the backup key inside the trasnponder itself. This will allow you to unlock the doors or trunk if the car has lost power.
Pedantry is a hobby of mine. I appreciate the correction.
