3rd Gear: This is purely speculation, but I think some of what is hurting Chrysler is their outsourcing of major components rather than building them. The items that come to mind are the EcoDiesel and the ZF transmissions (8Speed RWD trans, and 9spd FWD trans). I know a lot of other automakers do this as well, but

I doubt anything major will change, Ford has stated that the design is 99% fixed. I think the designer mentioned the mirrors might change.

I agree. The old truck's numbers weren't bad (payload and towing) and would do what most people would need out of a truck. The "formula" was a valid one. The fuel mileage was miserable and it was hard to look at. If they make a good looking truck with good MPG they'll sell enough to make the business case for them.

The other thing you're forgetting is time. Is your time worth a high profile car at a low cost? That DIY maintenance to save money and those unscheduled repairs will cost you time.

Came here to post basically the same thing. Everyone forgets about this thing called "opportunity cost". Everyone things debt is this horrible thing, but when managed/utilized properly can actually help you become more wealthy. Those concepts, and the self control required to execute them, seem to be beyond the

I asked this question to a guy restoring some vintage airplanes. Apparently the clear coat doesn't stick very well to polished aluminum and would peel off after a bit of use. You'll notice one of the steps involved is a coat of primer to give the paint something to "bite" onto.

Fuck off you twit. I turned the video off because the guy was spewing verbal garbage. I couldn't care less what he said about liberals. Also, I wasn't hurling insults at the entire population of New Jersey, just the douche in the video.

Likewise, the guy sounds like a bad version of a New Jersey tough guy in a B movie.

...and 10 cylinders

I approve!

This guy deserves an award.

I had an '05 with the 5.4 and it was... acceptable. Add in monster tires and extra weight and this thing has to be a complete dog.

Those cars have Ohio plates, it could be Columbus or Cincinnati though... I hope it's Cleveland.

The biggest motor the Fusion comes with is a 2.0 turbo. The 2.3t/AWD/MTX combo in a Fusion would make me a buyer...

How much faster will these self immolate with two red hot turbos in the engine bay?

No, no you are not.

I approve!

Try this search: 2015 Chevy SS. I came up with zero which explains why you can't find one with a manual trans. There are no 2015's available!

What's that? I can't hear you over the Star Spangled Banner playing through the exhaust of my American 7.0l V8!

What chassis would they put it on? My guess is they put this on the Coloradoo/Canyon chassis. If they make a GMC Wrangler they'll get some sales, but it'll die pretty quick after the novelty wears off. To make it sustainable they'd need to offer something jeep doesn't. Maybe position it like the Raptor (high speed
