My best guess; a rehash of the same formula. Big engine, (relatively) little car, RWD, automatic transmission. I'm sure it will have all sorts of adaptive and automatic goodies, but I doubt that it will be a major departure from what they've been doing with the C class AMG.

This is a valid point. I have several friends who are current or prior tire engineers. I had basically the same question and the consensus was that "we can pretty much put any number on the sidewall". It's a rough gauge of tire wear, but it is more important as a marketing tool.

OK, I know the title said plane, but the V2 rocket needs to be on this list.

"GT" and "GT Premium" are trim levels. The Premium gets you some extra (non-performance / luxury) stuff. The "Performance Pack" is an option which includes Brembo brakes, bigger radiator, stiffer suspension (dampers, springs, sway bars), additional chassis bracing, 19 inch wheels, a 3.73:1 axle with Torsen limited

Huh?

Unfortunately that's not available with the "435hp" option.

GT (not premium), 6spd manual, GT performance pack, and Recaro's. Done. $37,015. I chose "Magnetic" for the color.

I was working at a VW/Chrysler/Jeep/Mazda dealer as a parts driver/porter/detailer/new car prep when were introduced (that's a lot of "/"). They were VERY nice cars, but they made the reliability of the Chrysler products of the time look Honda-like in comparison.

I'd say that's been the buried lead on this motor since it was introduced. Everyone was excited about the MPG rating when they rolled it out in the F150, but all I was drooling over was the torque curve. Also keep in mind that 90% of that peak is available as low is 1800RPM.

Eh, not so much...

There is a long answer and a short answer. The short answer is... it depends. The long answer explains the short answer. Is a supercharger better than a turbo? For what? Fuel economy, driveability, max power, max torque, throttle response, cost, installation, packaging, longevity... Lot's of factors go into the

$38k? I realize this thing is all tarted up with goodies, but at what point do you start cross-shopping full size trucks? $38k can get you into a pretty nice 1/2 ton.

Precisely that. Some are rated in CC's others in cubic inches. It only applies to positive displacement blowers. Centrifugals (and turbo's since they use the same style of compressor) are rated differently since they or not linear in regards to airflow vs. RPM vs. pressure.

Neutral: Honda is wrong. A sale is a sale if the metric we're using is volume. Nobody said that fleet sales don't count, or it has to meet a minimum profitability standard to count, or you can only use traditional financing to make it count.

No kidding, four years old and still breastfeeding. Wierdos...

"For all intents and purposes" not "intensive purposes".

Ding-Ding-Ding, big block wins again! Other acceptable answers include a 351 stroker or Coyote 5.0.

Hello power windows and locks are less important than heated, leather seats? This list is bogus.

I'd have to agree, but you should get up close and personal with an offshore powerboat sometime. With a couple thousand horsepower on tap they'll get your blood pumping!

Like an airbag sensor in the front seat!
