I'd also toss Das Racist, El-P, Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire, and of course, Wu Tang into the mix. Also Kanye? A geek? Notsomuch.

This 100%. I've heard so many people ranting about how great the game is, but the characters... I thought we'd moved past female characters either looking like either creepy jail bait or hookers with giant weapons.
Huh, I feel like I just watched the trailer to about four or five different games. Hopefully the art direction and game play are a lot more coherent that how that trailer portrayed them to be.
Welcome to the Tech Industry. They're looking for self-starters.
Amazing piece Doc, you're a natural storyteller, although I hope you don't have to write anymore stories like that. You work reminds me a lot of David Wood's piece on a wounded Marine and his Doc, that just won the Pulitzer: [www.huffingtonpost.com]
I was about to say the same thing. But still very cool looking.
With a little Bioshock and Thief thrown in for good measure.
Clearly you've never been married.
I'm with you, I've read through all the complaints about plot holes and the like, watched some of the "unanswered questions" videos, and still fail to see exactly what got everybody so hot and bothered. Wow. I'm actually stunned on this one. I mean really? Mr. Kail, I don't know you, but after reading this article as well as this one:
That is an instant classic right there.
To address everyone's questions/comments on where they got the word warfighter from.
I was under the impression there would be Tone Loc in that video. To make up for his absence I'll leave you this, another wonderfully movie from that era.
God, I loved that game. Deadpan humor that matched Purcell's comic perfectly. Also, it taught me the word "lagomorph".
"It's been 17 years since the debut of the original Twisted Metal on the PlayStation" - Thank you for making me feel incredibly old.
