@FarmboyinJapan: When you put it that way I can see your point (I do like that museum though, depending on the exhibit showing). I still can't imagine asking a travel agent that among the things I want to see in Japan is freaking Roppongi Hills.

@everybest: Is it though? I mean it's certainly ex-pat central for sure but I can't really picture Ralph and Debbie from Des Moines wanting to hit up Gaspanic or Heartland on their excursion to Tokyo.
Really, Roppongi HIlls is number four? Wow. I mean the place is ok if you looking for a 1000+ yen beer (unless you know where to look) or high-end western style shopping, but I find it surprising that it's so high on the list among tourists.
@blacksamurai87: The list of the top selling games in Japan, hence a picture of a Japanese landmark.
@Lincolnsbeard33: Instead what do kids these days get? CGI monkeys, A-bomb proof fridges and Shia La Boof or however the hell you spell it.
@EdRoivas333: The good thing is the 12-pack of beer you started out with gets lighter as you go along.
Light walking and a round of golf with out a cart are the same thing? Whoever did this research has obviously never played a round of golf in Georgia in the summer.
My only question is did Dr. Seuss write the script for that trailer?
@samfr: In summary, paperwork in Japan is hella confusing. At least to my gaijin ass that can only read maybe a dozen kanji characters.
@samfr: Yeah but when you get them made they usually use the characters for your family name when making the stamp. For example, I'm able to use my wife's honko because we have the same last name.
@HoxtonHero: At an arcade near where I live we found a UFO catcher that had actual maid costumes in it (cheap ones but still not bad looking).
@Gyaruson: That's almost No-Prize worthy
Like Luke alluded to in his post I think if this game is is anything like the original a lot of people who didn't play the original are going to be a rude awakening when they encounter how difficult the game is.
@develin: Do you know what's even more annoying in Roppongi? The African club promoters, unless those were the bouncers you were talking about.
@Silenced: Maybe he'll even be Batman, what with Bruce Wayne being dead an all.
@skaven: You can still get beer and porn though.
@aw3str1k3r: One thing I'm suprised this post didn't mention is that a lot of the Japanese arcades can be as you put it "eww..."
I prefer EVE Online's recruitment reward better. If I invite a friend to try a trial of EVE he gets a 21 day trial instead of the regular 14 days. And if he then subscribes, I get a month of free play. Win-win all around.
@AncientUnknown1: I dunno but there's got to be at least some sort of unspoken fashion guideline. We were getting snow flurries the other day here in Tokyo, and yet there were still tons of women going around in miniskirts or shorts.
@Grisaille - The Sweetest Thang since Pootie Tang: Yeah Jita's a mess. Controlled chaos, spammers, scammers and lag all in one- But I wouldn't want it anyother way. It's like the Mos Eisley of EVE.
