That's a nice fight scene and all, but it says more about the director (who obviously has a great deal of time and budget to get however many takes that was) and the cinematographer (who obviously does not have a steadicam) than about the admittedly skilled performers.

Retro is definitely the way to go, given Starlord's style, though I'd pull for something more like Bionic Six or Silverhawks. And it definitely needs a cheesy 80s-style theme song (with actual lyrics, none of this "music and audio clips" crap).
