Yahoo doesn't think the world is ending either or they wouldn't bother closing all public chat rooms on December 14; they would just leave them open for another week.

My thoughts on that: You may want to climb Mt Everest ONCE in your lifetime, but, do you really want to climb that mountain every day, even if you have sherpas to haul your ass up there? (No, its a hell of a lot of work!)

Mine was (as stated) one woman's* opinion based on real life experience.

One woman's opinion based on personal experience: A man's ability to please/satisfy a woman comes from the size of the organ between his ears and not the one between his legs. Its all in the attitude. No one paid me to say that, and its not BS, its for real. I wouldn't lie to you because I just don't care enough

I would still rather strap my wrist to the Mustang.

I have not (yet) been to Kansas, though I am considered Midwest as well in Ohio (except by actual mid-westerners who consider us Eastern or Great Lakes, but neither of them want us either). The whole country is quite a lovely patchwork quilt from 30,000 feet up. I do hope to travel more, but sadly, being a wage

During my first plane ride over the US, my face was glued to the window, and in the Midwest and West I saw all the round fields and was amazed by these "crop circles". I did not realize at the time why it was, and figured it must be some soil conservation method like contour farming, etc. The center pivot irrigation

I had to look Ebnezer up. The irrigation pattern answer makes sense now that I think of it. I come from such a moist, verdant climate, I often forget there is a need for it in other places.

Is it me, or does that last one (Garden City) not look right? Its almost as if everyone has a circular property line.

I love the Kool Aid part, though.

Lol@wrongways, but you are absolutely correct about it. Maybe I should open my mind to Nothingness. I will give it a try and hopefully my head doesn't explode.

The closest I have gotten is to be able to (mostly) concentrate on ONE thought. My brain is like the guy in the circus who has the 25 plates all spinning at once and never drops one. Not surprisingly, that is also exactly what my job requires, so the gear down to one thought is, for me, major progress.

A quick, non-scientific poll among some female friends seems to indicate that indeed basic hygiene seems to be the #1 factor. As far as consumables go, general consensus says a thumbs down to beer and onions.

How do you think about nothing? I have tried all kinds of meditation, yoga or flat out boredom to try and give my mind a rest, but it never works; there are always things up there buzzing around. Maybe its because he is an artist and they think differently than we regular folks, but whatever it is, I envy his

That was actually a plot in an old Sex in the City episode, if I am not mistaken.

And you, Sir, brightened mine. :)

I must disagree. Mid-sex I don't even remember what a phone is, do not hear it ring and would forget how to even answer it. Unless its phone sex, the answer is No. Even if it is phone sex, the answer is still No.

Bing or Jeeves.

You can tell little Adobe that I am not letting him or his update in until I can pry that Google tool bar out of his hand.
