I wish more manufacturers would take a modular approach to performance laptops. I had to replace the hard drive on a small notebook this weekend. I would say this reduction has more to do with the fact that you cannot wipe the phone without entering the previous password on an iPhone. Perhaps that is what they refer to as the kill switch.
