I feel like I see this sort of thing in a lot of anime. Characters will go into an entire monologue to explain an emotion, when there are a million ways to imply it. I guess it’s just a cultural/style thing. Drives me crazy though.

This is pretty cool- nice find. One thing I'm a little concerned about thought- I think read here on Giz or Lifehacker years ago that charging faster = more heat = reduced lifetime of the battery. Anyone know if that's true? Think this will cause any significant impact?

I'm pretty sure tethering will work fine on Verizon if you have anything besides their old unlimited plan. If you do, they charge an extra $30 per month to enable the feature.

Yes. Mainly to enable tethering/hotspot on my phone without paying an extra $30 to Verizon (I have a grandfathered unlimited plan). Also iFile is fantastic.

Target has decent deals on the 16GB versions of the iphone 5C and iphone 5S.

Oh god that was amazing.

I have Jiffy steamer. It's pretty good for everything except dress shirts/dress pants. It's like the material of my dress shirts is too thick/not absorbent enough for the strength of the steamer. Am I just using it wrong? Is it my clothes?

Upstate NY- Verizon coverage is very good but 4G speeds are all over the damn place. Where I work, it can get so unstable that I have to switch to 3G to get anything done.

Hmm.. while this deal does look excellent, and I will probably get it, I thought you guys weren't posting Rakuten stuff anymore.

Reading it again, I may have misunderstood one part. I think what the person did was use bootcamp to create the Windows partition (should automatically be formatted to NTFS), then applied their backup to that partition somehow during the installation process. So you might not even have to do a totally fresh Windows

Oh man. That sounds tricky. I bet it's possible I'm just not sure offhand. If I were just using non mac hardware, I'd probably try to make a .wim (windows image) out of the VM and then apply the image to a fresh partition.

I just did a quick search and found this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3731665…

Ah, that's not too bad. Yeah, you're probably right about gaming on a VM, but I bet you'd be able to do a decent amount of gaming using Bootcamp to create a Windows partition. I have a 2010 Macbook Air and, on the Windows side, just off the top of my head, was able to play Telltales' Walking Dead, Starcraft 2, and

That Sony Vaio Pro Touch 13 that mhassan suggested sounds pretty sweet. As for Macbook Airs.. I've heard that the 2012 Ivy Bridge model was able to play the latest Tomb Raider and Bioshock games on low-ish quality, so I can only assume the Haswell one will be able to play modern games as well. I hear there is about a

What year macbook is it? You might be surprised by what you'll be able to play. Like some of these guys said, you could install Windows using the built-in Bootcamp software. It's not too tough; just need a copy of Windows.

I'm not sure when it happened, but the price went back down. At around 5AM I checked and saw it back at 59.99. I looked again a few minutes ago and it was back up. Strange!

I think it only lasted for a few hours. I definitely saw it for 59.99 earlier today.

Looks like the deal is over. Darn.

Aw man. Yeah I had a feeling that was the case. That's ok, the improvement in performance I'd get probably isn't high enough for the money.
