What is amazing is that this sort of communication is the result of cats adapting to humans. While some forms of cat-to-cat communication can be verbal, it very rarely sounds like this. This is solely for human benefit.

I'm jaded enough to believe that it is most likely the result of his loss of endorsements, including Reebok (which was announced yesterday).

I am in my happy place.

It's for reasons like this that I'm a huge supporter of increased transparency in how many organizations — schools included — conduct themselves. It's not because I expect wrong-doings out of them, but more that I feel that it better prevents situations like these.

With the proclivity of religions and cultures (often influenced by said religions) to think of women as a second class, I sometimes wonder if there are any modern religions or cultures where the opposite is true. I'm not saying that it would be good if there were, but there is a noticeable absence.

I think that what equally frustrates and saddens me is that, even while done with good intentions, there's always an inherent bias against women in these discussions. The focus is generally the impact on girls: the emphasis on the use of birth control, the use gender-charged terms (men aren't usually called sluts),

I'm not quite certain what you mean by having the site pick articles for you, but there are two ways to view content on the main page. The first (and default) is recommended, meaning that the articles are ranked by their popularity. The second us latest posts, which displays articles in chronological order with the

[...] wtf—why do the photos have to be so damn big? It gives me a headache to look at such giant photos and also makes Jezzing at work a little more conspicuous.

That would definitely facilitate other forms of interaction. However, we'd need a subsequent guide for that.

I have smiled! Thank you.

I'd like to chime in and say that I would very much appreciate it if someone asked me if it was okay to kiss me. For one, I find it refreshing. For two, I'm exceedingly bad at recognizing people's intentions when they aren't clearly stated so it would help me better understand that a kiss is the desired response.

From what I have read, the man was asked to leave by the hospital after his partner's family said that they didn't want him there. This is around the time that Gorley supposedly told the nurse who was attempting to escort him out that he had power of attorney.

I found this video humorous, but I laughed more in response to the cameraman's reactions. I find that this is very common of me and I don't know if it's because that is what is really funny to me or if I'm responding to the idea that I should be laughing.

You are perhaps the third person with whom I've spoken to on this site within the last couple of hours who also plays World of Warcraft! I almost want to see if we could create a Jezebel guild on some server somewhere, just for fun.

I hadn't considered this point! The act of kissing should be a mutually agreed upon decision; by making it a surprise, it does infer that her choice is being taken away. I'm certain that it wasn't the point that the author was trying to make, but it doesn't bode well given the recommendation to continue despite voiced

As someone who has been told by health care professionals that I most likely have a form of high-functioning autism, I can readily admit that one indicator is severe impairment during social interaction. Much of it stems from an inability to discern people's feelings and intentions based on basic social conventions

Oh, treasure hunt! Hide some in your mouth one day just as a surprise.

The part about the girl basically being like, "wtf?" after the kiss is so weird. If her reaction is not positive then that means you failed, kid. She does not want you. And yes, you do need to move on.
