Facebook isn't quite like a party because you can choose the extent of the "conversation" (to use your analogy) in which you want to engage. There are a lot of features to Facebook that go beyond the need to de-friend or block specific people. You can also limit how frequent and the type of content that you see from…
I believe that you use the Comment of the Day tag page. http://jezebel.com/cotd/forum
The unfortunate thing about the movie was that I didn't initially make the connection that "John Carter" was based upon "A Princess of Mars." I'd read the novel and some of the other Barsoom books years ago as a child and adored it. I think that there may have been more people likely to see it (fans or other people…
Agreed. That's a pretty big faux pas.
So that's how they get the mice to perform in those animated Disney movies!
I have a German friend who is a member of the pirate party. He is very vocal regarding his party's platform, which I find to be quite fascinating. As a former sailor I, too, was hoping something a little more nautical-related when I first heard of the party, but that doesn't diminish the quality of our discussions!
I like it and think that she looks lovely. The hair isn't perfect, but she looks like an attractive, young, beautiful woman. It's sad when looking like "normal" people means that you look haggard.
Oh, it's definitely happening on other campuses. I attended a federal military academy that required us to spend time working in a heavily male-dominated industry as part of our education. Not only were problems with sexual assault frequently disregarded, but the school also had the gall to overrepresent the number of…
I was thinking much of the same. What negative impact will occur if schools proceed with being honest in their numbers? I'd think that it would reflect better on them if they were sincere and were open in recognizing that there is work to be done and that they are actively attempting to change culture on campus (or at…
This was on the demo disk, wasn't it? I remember playing it over and over again in the months leading up to its release.

It would be close, but I'd have to put 9 as a definite contender. The music was very thematic, in which the same melody would be replayed in a variety of differing ways, which I found to be both appealing and engaging. It felt very cohesive to me. There were just so many enjoyable songs.

I suggest clarifying that it's the Baby FARM Animal Power Rankings — otherwise I'd lament about the lack of ferrets. Though, to be fair, ferrets are ridiculously adorable throughout their entire lives.
Based solely on the picture provided, I'll concur.
This description made me think of old fruit and how they wrinkled and porous as they dry out. They get those ridges, too, that look like veins. Especially oranges and the like.
I tend to socialize primarily with men and the women with whom I do friend of Facebook are already married (or disavow marriage entirely!), so I've yet to encounter this phenomenon.
Brilliant reference.
