Ideally, it would be the only car on the track in a series where it is unheard of.

Won’t happen in the real world, but I’d love to see someone racing a completely white (except for the numbers) decal-less car. Maybe have a hidden sponsor who would be known by word of mouth as sponsoring the sponsor-less car.

Range is reduced in the cold, but if you start out with a warm car/battery then your range isn’t drastically affected.

Yeah, you really need to know your charging locations before you set out if your round trip is over half of your range if it’s near freezing.

Regen is limited (initially in anything below 50 degrees F until the battery warms up. i’m guessing in really cold weather the battery can’t maintain a temp so the regen is limited or gone altogether.

It was my first time going that low. And you can never tell if 0 miles = dead car or not. Some people get an extra 10 miles, some people, if they are driving unusually or have an odd trip that is mostly uphill run out before zero. Luckily I stopped for food around 7 miles from home with 10 miles of range. I thought it

I have a Model 3. Last weekend I had an all day event about 75 miles from my home. I left my house in the morning with over 250 miles. I did do some spirited driving along the way there since I had AMPLE range for this task. I can’t remember what my range was when I arrived, but when I left at 6pm (about 27 degrees F)

Fairness is all about the angle you are viewing it at. It’s fair that someone who has more in one year that 99% of the rest of us would earn in a lifetime would shoulder a fiar amount of the load. It is also unfair that someone has a disproportionate amount of money taken from them because they are successful.

I recently saw an article that predicted EVs will be equivalent, price-wise to ICE cars by 2022. Battery costs are the driving factor as far as I know.
That’s the big thing preventing the $35k Tesla Model 3.
How is total cost of ownership factored in? Fuel is cheaper. No oil changes, radiator flushes, timing belt

I first heard of Bathurst a few years ago when it was added to the Forza series. And so I had never heard it pronounced until a year or two later, but by that time it was too late.

You’d have to expect the Model 3 demand to dry up in the US for the first part of the year and that was probably in their plans. Anyone who wanted a Model 3 also wanted that tax credit and made sure they took delivery before the end of the year. Of course, Tesla knew that so they planned to start shipping

Fun story. I was in a horrific car accident in my late 20s in which I had to get a plate in my hip. My mother was with me at the doctor’s appt where he went over my X-Ray and what was done. And there, on the screen, was my dick.
Oh, well. That happened.

There’s a show explaining it on the TV. You should tape it.

It’s tough to nail down because (and I’m no expert) charging time depends on the size of the battery and how full that battery is. Apparently you can’t charge at a high rate near the top of the battery.

Bad.

No. If police tell you to get down and you don’t and they FORCE you physically to the ground then you’ve been forced to the ground. Otherwise you are just complying with an order. Anything else is using semantics. The general definition of forced involves some sort of over the top coersion and not just an order. In

You are also making a false assumption that it is a scam. So where does that leave it?

And for those who still don’t know because the video doesn’t mention the title of the movie anywhere, the movie is The Gumball Rally.

If Trump was a lifted truck this would be it.

so supple you can’t help but stroke it.
