lol. derailing. the word of the day I guess. I am not doing such a thing. I recognize the hard times that blacks have been put through and im not going to take that away from any one. but tell me exactly what "fuck white people" does to the movement? It's not a progressive attitude to have. I'm not taking about white

I think it's supposed to be a combination of "whiten" and "delicious". :/

I'm not trying to derail history. Just, no one likes stereotypes. White people being assholes and racist is a stereotype and is offensive just like a million other racial stereotypes. All people are fucking assholes, black, white, asian, whatever I've met an asshole of every race you can't tell me that assholeness is

Those white people are not the same white people that live today. Many may still believe in those ideologies but I do believe we are moving past it as a majority. I've never met a white person that felt that way or treated anyone as if they were less human because of their skin color.

Eh, I've wished I were a man cause life would be easier at times. Doesn't mean I think women are lesser, sometimes we're just done with having to fight the fight all the time.

I hate admitting this, but there were a few times in my life where I wish I was white because I felt that my life would be easier. But for the most part, I never felt that my skin color was ugly. I loved my brown skin and hated society's hate for brown skin.

I hope you get all the stars you're so obviously fishing for.

What does this have to do with white people?

And...it's hard not to see this as using the kid to get back at her, rather than what's actually best for the kid. Ugh. I hate when divorcing parents pull this kind of shit.

Right? I am sure loads of divorced parents would love to keep their children away from the new spouse/partner, but it's really not practical or fair to the child. I'm surprised a judge allowed this.

Makeup is a complicated subject. One cannot really talk about it without talking about how beauty is considered a value in society. How 'presentable' doesn't mean 'clean and tidy' as often as it means 'full face of slap'. It is problematic. When I talk about makeup as a creative outlet, I am really only talking about

Most women have been told that we don't NEED makeup until we come into the office one day without anything on and get asked by 5 different people oh my god are you feeling okay??? You look so sick!!

I agree with you that you should just have at and wear whatever makeup you want.

I sit like this dude when I go to the green grocer and take the bus back with multiple bags all the time.

Yeah, no. During off peak hours when the train is primarily empty, this is perfectly acceptable behavior. I have been known to sprawl initially & then gradually make myself smaller as more people board the train.

Exactly. Luckily for some of us, we realize what a stupid and self defeating fantasy that is.

Not sure if you were serious, but if you were it's interesting that you took my statement of "I can work well with a team, provided they can work well with me" to mean (in your words):

Sadly, it is becoming more and more representative of the internet as a whole. Whether they are political sites or pop culture sites, many of them are all filled with this sort of weirdness. A friend of mine says the Mommy blogs are even worse.

Men also imagine that this scenario includes "all people I'd actually like to sleep with." This fantasy is so tired. I've tried to explain it to so many dudes. Like, you know how in lots of male comedies there is that hilarious Ugly Chick who is desperate to screw and it's so funny because she's so ugly? Yeah, so

Getting punched in the face won't hurt nearly as bad as the chiropracty.
