I was just going to say, he's not denying that he was sleeping with her, right? It doesn't sound like it, if his defense strategy is to paint her as some crazed ex, which means he's already admitting that if nothing else, there was frat going for years. Jesus, how hard is it to figure out on your own that you don't

Well, I'm in the grey area. An NT with ASD-like traits, who went to psychologist as an adult and learned about it. I have had huge lots of social trouble all through my childhood and teenage years, it took me a long time and conscious effort to fit in, and I don't even have enough symptoms to be diagnosed.

I know a few people on that end of AS - the "quirky" or "prickly" ones. The general sentiment I understand is that they prefer having a 'diagnosis' to always feeling out of place and not knowing why.

The real cause is actually fairly well known...In the 90s we redefined Austism from a narrow specific issue to the Autism Spectrum. Also there was a massive educational push on it. Go figure...you redefine the term to include millions more and train people to look for it and you get an increase.

Her nails look fine, you're being a snot.

Manicure Shaming: The new body shaming (or maybe the new classism since not everyone can afford to pay for a manicure. It was DIY!?! OMG! How terrible!)

1. I NEED Khloe Kardashian's nail polish.

That does not say Queef-Cutter like my eyes briefly told me it did. My confusion and concern are gone.

Yeah, I think it's a dick move that we fill toddlers' time with watching shit that only needs their attention span for 1-4 minutes at a time and then get pissed at them in school when they have no attention span. Like, what did we expect to happen when all they do is watch commercials and play video games?

I say we make CFTs indistinguishable form NJPs.
Activity 1: Burn wagbags for thirty days without any protective layers.
Activity 2: Fill 10,000 sandbags in full PPE.
Activity 3: Permanent S4 working party.

Right, this is one of those things that people aren't talking about: stress has been shown to have clear, measurable effects on a fetus. But we freak out about a glass a wine a week or the occassional weed based on faulty studies. I'd like some actual, measurable and non freaked-out discussion about this topic, urg.

Thank you for making me feel justified. I told Mr. Temperance that if we have a kid, said kid gets absolutely NO screen time until at least 2.5, and even then, no tablet computers.

Facebook comes up in divorces frequently for the same reason that phone messages and emails do. People aren't meeting new partners on Facebook. They're using it to reconnect to their high school sweethearts, or are using the messaging system to flirt with that friend from their running club.

As someone raised Catholic in the Bible Belt, at least two of those (and possibly all three) wouldn't even be considered "Christian" by most evangelicals.

Pretty sure no one is saying "Women who drank 15 drinks per week had better behaved kids." Heavy drinking puts you at risk for FAS. But equating that with a glass a week is a bit absurd.

For all expectant moms out there, I can really recommend this book "Expecting Better: Why the Conventional Pregnancy Wisdom is Wrong and What you Really Need to Know" by Emily Oster. She's an economist and tackles all the big pregnancy myths/sayings and looks at all the research done in the area from around the world,

I guess when meet the bad guys on the playground, they'll likely win now.

I don't really see what the problem is. If physical strength is a necessary requirement for a job, and I would imagine being a marine is one of those jobs, then set a standard and stick with it. I don't see how we benefit by watering down standards and in this case it's clear that while not all women can pass the

Christ. Doesn't anybody name their kids Mary and John anymore?

That's really shitty :( I'm not "fat" but I'm always worried that someone will shoot me a weird look at the gym. If it actually happened, I don't think I'd feel comfortable going back.
