Are you just not considering this scenario because acknowledging it would make it difficult to hold your position? Game developers, especially small indie devs, usually try to foster comradery since it’s a way to appear more approachable and to keep people engaged. Just last month the Ooblets devs released a dev blog

I personally couldn’t care less about Ooblets and never intended to buy it in the first place, but step back and consider the situation on a more human level.

Yeah, that efficiency is one of the worst on the EV market. 71kWh per 186 miles comes out to almost 24kWh/100km. That puts it on par with the Model X Performance Edition in terms of efficiency. I think the only BEVs with a lower efficiency are the Jaguar I-PACE and the Audi e-tron 55, both of which have 400hp

The pins on this map account for over 15o public charging spaces and most L2 chargers can pump about 7.2Kw. If people rely on public chargers only and run down their battery every single day, this Mini with a 32kWh battery would only need to be plugged in for 4.5 hours. The current infrastructure alone could handle

You’re shifting the goalposts here. You said that no city is ready for City EVs, yet there are clearly options for EVs that exist even in a small city I selected at random. Is the city ready for a 100% switchover to EVs tomorrow? No, and if your living circumstances won’t allow you to charge at home or at work then

but calling it a city car when no city is ready for EVs is the mistake.

If I have my conversions right, 95g CO2/km equates to about 4.3L/100km (~55 US MPG). It’s scary that we’ve let atmospheric CO2 get as high as it is today, but it’s exciting to see how quickly people are finally starting to adapt.

The one downside of the plug-in model is that the battery sits on the cargo floor, so the cargo floor sits 4-6" higher than normal and the battery weight is pretty high up. I still am quite happy with mine, but if I were going anywhere with people that required an overnight stay I’d probably limit myself to 3 people

What lawsuit is this in relation to?  Have they been tagged for tax avoidance or something similar?

I think there are enough design cues for someone to see some inspiration from the Sport 1000 and P70, but the Sport 2000 really looks like the odd duck out of the bunch so I won’t be making any direct comparisons to the Sport 2000.

1) is the reason I don’t play. The last time I fired it up (which, god, must’ve been about a decade ago), I’m pretty sure within a week I was already looking at multiple 3-4 day skills required to move into a larger ship class, never mind the equipment required to make that bigger ship worthwhile to buy. Within the

Totally just curious as to how you assess that SUVs are more deadly to pedestrians and cyclists? Are the people more likely to end up under the vehicle?

I’m intrigued by the plan to specifically call out SUVs as a vehicle type. As a body style, SUVs have managed to become largely as efficient as the sedans and wagons we’re used to by transforming into crossovers.

Forza Horizon, SoD2, Void Bastards, and Battle Chef Brigade so far for me.  Still waiting to load Prey, Sunset Overdrive, and Crackdown 3 but I need to contact my ISP because my plan is capped at 200gb/month while new plans are unlimited.

The game so nice they’re releasing it thrice!

If Viva Piñata is released on PC with kb/m support, I’ll have to set up alarms on my phone to remind me to eat.

Heavy duty trucks are a major source of emissions, but pickups and cars emit almost 3x the amount of emissions as heavy duty trucks. Heavy rail corridors should be built, but they should be dedicated commuter rail and subway systems to have the largest effect on overall emissions.

Can I just say, I hate games that give duplicates as random unlocks. Receiving a duplicate item usually just gives back a tiny portion of the purchase price as in-game currency or leaves it up to the recipient to find a new buyer on a secondary market. I much prefer games that are guaranteed to give the player a brand

I believe most of the efficiency gains have been with newer, higher bypass turbofans. I don’t think there’s a supersonic capable high bypass jet engine (nor do I even know if it’s physically possible with our current material science), so a Concorde 2.0 would probably still have to use gas-guzzling low bypass engines.

I think he just has to be very careful about what he says because some people will take his speculations as gospel. If he’d openly said something like “I’d love to see Gears on PS,” you just know it’d be a matter of time before every other comment on every gaming subreddit would talk about how MS isn’t practicing what
