I can’t understand who the target market is for this train. People who are willing to spend over $1000 per day to ride a sparsely filled train? Is there some secret society of rich rail fans in Japan just itching to ride an elite train (presumably to a destination they could reach on a regular train) in luxury?

That’s an ok solution if the game spawns a couple of soldiers on foot, but as you completed missions the ‘heat’ level of a zone would increase and the game would spawn more and more enemies in vehicles. It was hard to ignore enemies in vehicles, especially the pickups with machine gun turrets, as they’d chase you down

The only reason I clear outposts in FC is so that I can take over a zone and stop enemies from spawning while I do the stuff I actually want to do. I hated driving in roads in FC5 because there was always some random enemy vehicle that would spawn and drag me into combat while I was just trying to go collect a comic

I’ve ranted a few times about how F1 needs to reduce their reliance on downforce if they want to have more exciting races. Let the drivers race instead of determining the outcome based on engineering budgets and who can get the cleanest air over their aero parts.

Yeah, the story reduced Epona to ‘just a horse’ whereas most games with Epona involve her in the story in some capacity. It just felt like an insult that we could have any horse except the most iconic horse in the Zelda universe unless we had been collecting Amiibos when Smash was released. If anything I think Epona

I’d still like to have a word with whoever was responsible for locking Epona behind an out-of-print Amiibo. In my mind, Epona is as much of a character in open world Zelda games as Link, Zelda, and Gannon.  Imagine if the next Zelda game had Link attempting to rescue the dark-haired Queen Karen unless you had

You would be correct. During my early formative years, everybody had a picture of a Porsche 959, C4 Corvette, or Ferrari Testarossa on their bedroom walls.

Im a car guy and honestly, until today, I didnt know that there was a Porsche 914. Ive only ever seen references to the 914/6 so I just assumed that was the model name and inwardly chuckled at those wacky Europeans for putting a slash in the middle of the name.

Being able to drive an electric car over 200 miles at a time, and being able to fill it back up to 80 percent electricity in about 20 minutes, is good.

I’m not concerned about the safety aspect, more about the downtime.  Using standard residential service it looks like it would be possible to drain the charging station faster than it could recharge, so I was concerned over whether a charging station could ‘run out of gas’ if too many people charge too quickly.

1st: Not disparaging EVs in any way (drive a PHEV myself), but one thing that’s bothered me about these super-ultra-mega fast chargers is how they themselves are recharged. Buckle up people, it’s math time.

Not an animator, but act somewhat adjacent, so a quick rundown. Apologies for any mistakes and corrections are welcomed:

Yeah, if anybody deserved an investigation post-race, it was #42. With the number of times he swerved back and forth to hold back the Bentley on the Bentley’s strongest section I expected the Bentley to punt the BMW off into those Destination NSW signs.

Ha! If I were Fancy Kristen, I’d probably be asking for exposed control rooms on my fleet of electric submarines.

Yes! Bring back the coachbuilders! If I can’t buy an electric Duesenberg with an exposed driver’s cabin for the chauffeur and a warm, enclosed space in the back for myself, I will be sorely disappointed.

I’ve been on the internet too long. I saw the title about “Gummi ships in Kingdom Hearts” and expected an article about steamy fanfics involving a character named Gummi getting busy with Donald Duck and Goofy.

Yeah, that trap either needs to be extended or that wall needs a couple layers of tires. The track designers may feel that people who go wide on that corner don’t deserve to get stuck in a trap, but that big patch of grass doesn’t do much for drivers that are exiting one of the fastest corners on the track backwards

I’d imagine the issue is with keyless ignition systems. The key and the car need to communicate, so if there’s too much RF interference the car may not realize the key is inside the car.

This looks more like a side-by-side than a pickup truck. Is there any way that this could be made road legal or will it be relegated to off-road use?
